Kristen and Matt’s ceremony was a simple, but lovely affair last November. Full of joy, grace and promises of everlasting love for one another. Watching them take their vows was wonderful to behold. They were both excited but made those promises soberly, ready to do whatever it takes to uphold them throughout their life together. Matt took a moment to steal a glance at Kristen as the priest was giving his homily and his face said it all, you knew this was a true and deep love they were there to seal in marriage.
Their reception was a blast! Matt has a propensity for being fairly tongue in cheek and it really came to life as they danced and cut their cake. Also, we have seen a lot of garter/bouquet tosses and the subsequent putting on the garter on the lucky lady who caught the bouquet, but we will never forget that event at this wedding. The man and woman who caught the garter and bouquet were in a relationship, and had maybe imbibed a bit at the bar that evening, and, well, we thought the garter was going to come down the other leg. Oh my did that make for some incredible photos, and some giant laughs.
Kristen and Matt – thank you for having us at your wedding! We thoroughly enjoyed getting to see your love up close and personal, and had a great time at your reception, which clearly provided some great memories for us as we are sure it did for you. We hope that you enjoyed your first year of marriage and that you have many more love and laughter filled years ahead!
