Laurel Creek Country Club Wedding | Dana & Kyle

Back in 2019, we had the honor of photographing (and befriending) Taylor & Paul at their dramatic ONE North Broad wedding. When it came time for Taylor’s brother Kyle to tie the knot with Dana, we were absolutely thrilled that Taylor sent them our way. Dana & Kyle’s Laurel Creek Country Club wedding day was more than a celebration of their love. Including those most important to them in every part of the day, it was a joyous celebration of family filled with special moments we had the joy of capturing.

Getting Ready for the Laurel Creek Country Club Wedding

With her mother and daughter, Lucy, Dana spent the morning at home preparing for the festivities ahead. The glam teams gave Dana her final touches while she relaxed in her comfy and casual ‘wifey’ sweats and we captured her dazzling details. Our 2023 brides are loving the Loeffler Randall Camellia bow heels and we are loving Dana’s choice of color, especially when paired with her fabulous florals. She helped Lucy into her adorable flower girl gown and Lucy carefully connected the buttons on the back of her mom’s Daarlarna dress.  The girls added their accessories before posing for her bridal portraits. After a few photos with her family, it was time to meet Kyle on the course for their Laurel Creek Country Club wedding.

Meanwhile, Kyle had a few friends hanging out with him at the club. One thing about Kyle, he loves the game of golf and even grew up playing rounds at Laurel Creek. With the memories made on the course and the potential promise of a morning round before the wedding, it was a sentimental spot to tie the knot. His dad, also his best man, straightened Kyle’s blush tie and his mom popped the pocket floral piece in place. Now a groom ready for his wedding, he shared a toast of bourbon with the guys before heading to the course to meet his bride.

First Look & Photos at LCCC

While waiting with Kyle on the course, his nerves began to build. When Dana tapped him on the shoulder, we saw the nerves turn to pure joy as he finally laid eyes on his bride. With these two up for an adventure, we began exploring the gorgeous grounds of the Laurel Creek Country Club for their portrait session. Although Dana’s bright and bubbly personality had been present all day, it boasted even brighter now that she was with Kyle. Kyle planted many kisses as Dana donned her beautiful bright smile before making their way back to the clubhouse for family photos.

Friends & Family

The most important thing to Dana and Kyle is family. They made the decision to forego the formal wedding party and instead shift the focus back to their families. Dana’s daughter Lucy and her two nieces were the most adorable flower girls with her godson as the ring bearer. It was such a joy to capture the love and laughter as the littles ran around the grass and posed for their pictures. With the family formals done, it was finally time for their Laurel Creek Country Club wedding ceremony on the lawn.

Garden Ceremony on the Lawn at Laurel Creek

Dana’s wedding vision featured a classic garden vibe and she knew her florist (and best friend!) Carol of Wild and Free Floral, would not disappoint! With the potted plants at the top of the aisle and show-stopping floral-filled arch, the lawn at Laurel Creek transformed into an oasis of blushing blooms.

Once Kyle took his place at the altar, Lucy and Olivia peppered the aisle with petals ahead of the bride. The littlest flower girl and ring bearer were specially escorted down the aisle by their parents before Lucy ran back up to meet her mom. At the top of the aisle, Dana’s parents handed her off to Lucy as they shared a memorable mother-daughter moment. They walked hand-in-hand down the aisle to the eagerly awaiting groom. After a reading from Kyle’s sister, Dana and Kyle exchanged their promises to each other and their wedding rings before sealing the deal with a kiss. They headed up the aisle and into forever as a family.

Laurel Creek Country Club Wedding Reception

The ballroom at LCCC was beautifully set with more of those blushing blooms and floating candle centerpieces. Following the flower girls and ring bearer, Dana and Kyle made their introduction as Mr. & Mrs. for the first time. They shared a sweet first dance before being pummeled to the floor by the girls and settling in for a delicious dinner. Seated at the sweetheart table next to a cardboard cutout of their dog, Loki, they heard heartfelt words from Kyle’s dad as they toasted to love and family. Dana made a quick change into her party dress and Nike sneakers to dance the night away. The newlyweds cut their cake with the cutest little family topper and shared a celebratory bite. After Dana & the girls changed into something a little more comfortable, they spent the rest of the evening on the dance floor.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs.! We wish you many more joyous pizza Friday’s and years of happiness!

Cheers to the vendors that helped make Dana & Kyle’s wedding day so special!
