Loch Aerie Mansion Wedding | Hannah Gal & Griffin Drury

Hannah and Griffin’s Loch Aerie Mansion wedding was a highlight of our year, and so close to home! It was clear from the jump, that this day was going to be one of beautiful moments and cherished memories. Anne Otley’s incredible florals captured Hannah’s vision, and AJ & his team at Loch Aerie Mansion were on top of everything else, from cocktail hour signature drinks, to an incredible dinner. Hannah & Griffin were on cloud nine from beginning to end.

Getting Ready at Loch Aerie Mansion

Loch Aerie Mansion opened its doors just a couple years ago. This beautifully restored mansion off route 30 in Malvern has whimsical, almost fairytale-ish charm. It also boasts one of the most beautiful and bright bridal suites we’ve been in. It feels like they consulted photographers for what would be perfect to have in a bridal suite, and built accordingly. There was a hook to hang Hannah’s incredible wedding dress. It was so light and dainty, with a scalloped train that you had to see to believe.

As Hannah and her wedding party got ready, there was palpable excitement and emotion in the air. Lots of laughs throughout. But the moment when Hannah slipped into her gown, and she had the chance to look in the mirror, the tears began to well. It was the happiest day of her life, and the emotion was bubbling over.

Hannah’s dad came in for a first look and that nearly undid all the makeup artists hard work. They tearfully embraced and Hannah’s mom smiled as she looked on. Hannah is the oldest of 6, and the first to get married. The way this whole family cares for one another is so sweet to behold.

Down below, in the super cool wine cellar, Griffin and the guys were getting ready. Griff’s tailored suit was set off by his star cufflinks and dapper velvet loafers. Griffin is such a good match for Hannah. We loved seeing him get a bit antsy as he waited for their first look. He blew off a little steam by playing darts in the wine cellar until it was time to greet his bride.

First Look & Portraits

Out on the lawn in the shade, we set Griffin up to wait for Hannah’s gentle shoulder tap. He was brimming with nerves, though we knew they’d calm the second they were together. Hannah gracefully swept up behind him and touched his shoulder. The world stopped when their eyes met. Griffin took a deep breath and hugged Hannah tightly. They then exchanged cards with their personal vows to one another. These moments are some that we are privileged to witness.

From there, we wandered the property and found beautiful pockets of light and stunning backgrounds for portrait after portrait. Wedding party joined us for some fun, including their adorable flower girl, Kennedy.

Family portraits were quickly worked through on the front porch of Loch Aerie Mansion, before heading to the church.

The Ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church in Malvern

Hannah and Griffin met at the altar at St Patrick’s Church in Malvern, and in a sweet ceremony, exchanged their vows and rings. Officially husband and wife united for life.

We had a few moments for extended family pictures before heading back to Loch Aerie Mansion for the awesome party!

What to expect from a Loch Aerie Mansion Wedding Reception

The new Drury’s were announced into their reception – in an exquisite ballroom decorated to perfection by Anne Otley and AJ’s team at Loch Aerie Mansion – to a standing ovation. Which promptly quieted as they shared their first dance. Griffin knows how to dance! He and Hannah were on their own in this crowded room as he twirled her about and she sang every word of the song to him. Griff had to give her up briefly as she shared a dance with her father, who held her tightly. His oldest daughter and first to marry. Griffin and his mother shared a sweet song too.

Toasts were offered in honor of Hannah and Griffin, highlighting Hannah’s immense love and dedication to her family and friends, and Griffin’s fantastic golf game.

Then, it was time to dance. And oh man, they danced! DJ Toroc was a kickass DJ. He kept the dance floor rocking and played some amazing mashups. Hannah and Griffin and all their friends and family tore that dance floor to pieces. Congratulations to the Drury’s!
