Louise + Mike • Married {part one}

Louise and Mike have been on our blog before with their adorable engagement session at Longwood Gardens (with a special appearance by the Mother of Dragons). Today we start their wedding week with the beautiful details and getting ready photographs from their late May wedding, which was not only beautiful to behold, but delicious to smell. They included so many flowers, the aroma was all encompassing. Everywhere you looked, there were roses, peonies, tulips and so many more, each a more vibrant and striking shade of pink, red and yellow than the last.

We loved Mike and Louise's shoes. Simple, comfortable and charming, just like them.

Louise's ring is adorable and unique and her leaflet necklace was perfect for her spring garden wedding.

Louise's hair was beautiful, loosely pulled back in a beautiful twist and accentuated by lovely spring flowers.

Louise had unfortunately gotten sick a few days prior to their wedding, and so as she got ready, she really tried to take it easy. Her smile though was no less bright and instead of being stressed out, she wore a very peaceful look as she trusted her bridesmaids and coordinators to make sure her day went smoothly. All she could think about was Mike. She was so excited to see him, and to be his wife for all time. They had planned a first look just outside the cottage where she was getting ready, and when the moment came, everyone else disappeared, and it was just these lovers, sharing the first moment of the rest of their lives.

Louise was very low key while getting ready as she wasn't feeling great. But you can't tell at all, she looks incredible and so peaceful.

The flowers for Louise and Mike's wedding were striking and plentiful. They brought the garden inside and the smell was fantastic.

Mike and Louise’s first look and couples portraits will be hitting the blog tomorrow, and they are worth the wait.

Mike and Louise were photographed by our lovely associate photographer, Serena.  If you love their wedding, ask us if Serena is available for your wedding day!
