Sometimes a couple’s love story is best captured by sharing their own words. Here’s Erika’s summation of the beginning of their love story.
“Jake and I went to high school together, and although we were never in the same group of friends, we knew one another and shared a few of the same friends. In May of 2015, Jake’s brother and now sister-in-law got married in Mexico. Jake was the best man for his brother. I also went to the wedding in Mexico because I was a bridesmaids in the wedding for my friend Andrea (Jake’s sisters-in-law). We both knew one another would be at the wedding, however, we did not know that when we got there, our once plus ones; were fortunately no longer “our plus ones”. We began catching up and hanging out that first night in Mexico, and the rest of our story leads us to where we are today!”
Their Old City engagement session with Ann was a pure delight. They wandered all around the historic landmarks with their beautiful marble and classic structures. There were brick walls and hidden gardens to explore, and the whole time, these two were smiling and laughing with one another.
They’re getting married on Saturday! We can’t wait to be back with them as they make it all official!
