The weather couldn’t have been any more perfect for Alex and Kyle’s Penn Museum micro wedding on September 11th, 2021. While the date certainly has somber connotations, for these two, it is also a day for unbridled joy as they finally made it official. Husband and wife. Partners for life.
When we arrived for the Penn Museum micro wedding, Alex was a little nervous. Her maid of honor was on point though, making sure that everything was going off without a hitch. She made sure all the details were together for me to begin capturing. I loved their quirkiness expressed in the details. Her ring has beautiful off setting baguette diamonds, and his has a beautiful off-center wood ring. Their invitations were deep purple and had mild art-deco vibes. It paired beautifully with her wild bouquet.
She dressed quickly when the time came. Her lovely lace dress featured flare sleeves that fluttered gracefully as she walked around. And when she came down the aisle, it was everything that Kyle could have wanted.
Their Penn Museum micro wedding ceremony was short and sweet. Her father walked her down the aisle to where Kyle was waiting. With glistening eyes, they promised to love one another forever, and to walk through life hand in hand as long as they had on the earth. With a kiss, it was a done deal!
After the Penn Museum micro wedding ceremony was completed, we wandered about the Museum itself for portraits. Stopping in the Egyptian room and Chinese Rotunda. It was easy to capture these two being sweet together, that’s all they do!
They celebrated with a brief cocktail style reception with their intimate guest count and it was time to say goodbye. All the best to Alex and Kyle in their forever together.
