The Lucy by Cescaphe is a perfectly posh Center City Philadelphia wedding venue and definitely deserves a spot on your short list!

The Multiple Levels
You can enjoy your ceremony on the third floor in a beautifully draped room, enjoy cocktails & hors d'oeuvres on the second floor balcony, then dance the night away in the main floor ballroom. As photographers, we love being able to capture a bird's eye view of your reception!
Cescaphe Hospitality
Every last detail has been carefully thought out and perfectly (& deliciously) executed for you to enjoy with your guests. Not only are Cescaphe weddings some of the tastiest around, but the staff knows how to keep the party flowing along on schedule.
The Central Location
If you have a wedding at The Lucy, you are spoiled for choices when it comes to your portrait locations! Philadelphia's iconic City Hall is just outside and all the historic landmarks are a very short trolley ride away.
Bonus: If it is raining, The Lucy itself has tons of beautiful portrait options INSIDE, as well!

It's so perfect! What's the catch?

While we absolutely can't get enough of The Lucy (seriously! can we shoot here every weekend?!), there are a few things to consider as you plan your wedding day.

The Multiple Levels
Yes, it's one of our favorite things about The Lucy, but you'll also want to keep it in mind when you think about ALL of your guests' experiences. Some of your elderly or differently abled guests may have some difficulty negotiating the stairs. And while there is an elevator, it's tucked away in a little corner. So, if you have a number of guests with mobility concerns, you may want to talk through the options for accommodating before you sign the dotted line (or consider one of our other favorite Cescaphe venues!)
Hey, Mr DJ. . .
In our opinion, The Lucy's large stage is best suited to a dramatic band that will fill the space more than a DJ. If you weren't thinking that a band is your style, make sure you think about how you'll use the space.
