It was a spectacular Saturday over Memorial Day Weekend for Meredith and David’s wedding at the Please Touch Museum, and our team was there to capture it all as it went down.
Getting Ready at the Sheraton Downtown
High in the hotel, in the presidential suite no less, Meredith and all her ladies were busy getting ready. Her stunning details were all laid out, and the view from the room couldn’t be beat. One of the bridesmaids had a command hook, so we were able to perfectly position the dress so we could capture it along with some of the iconic Philadelphia skyline. Meredith was doing her best to stay present in the moments leading up to her first look, so we quickly got her dressed.
She had a special gift for her mom and dad and one from David. It was a pair of stunning diamond earrings! Does it get better than that?
Meanwhile, David was just a few floors below, getting ready with all his groomsmen. It was a light hearted and chill atmosphere. They enjoyed a toast before making their way over to City Hall for the first look.

The First Look at City Hall & Portraits at Logan Circle
The only blemish in the beautiful weather was a couple passing showers, one of which decided to begin just as we arrived for the first look at City Hall. Quickly shifting gears, we moved David and the wedding party inside the halls that lead to the atrium and did our first look there, safely under cover. We couldn’t have Meredith’s stunning dress rained on before getting to the Please Touch Museum!
It was such a beautiful moment as they embraced for the first time on their wedding day, complete with oohs and ahh’s from the watching wedding party.
We stuck around for some portraits before cruising down Broad Street for the iconic shot of City Hall. Wedding party was then dropped off at the church and we hit Logan Circle for some couple’s portraits.

The Ceremony Before Going to Please Touch Museum
One of the most beautiful churches in the city of Philadelphia, the Basilica Cathedral of Sts Peter & Paul looms large on towards the end of the Ben Franklin Parkway. This epic place was where Meredith and David exchanged their vows of marriage, and doing life together as long as they lived. Meredith couldn’t stop smiling all throughout the ceremony, and soon, it was official. They were Mr & Dr Coyle!

Reception at Please Touch Musuem
After stopping by the Art Museum for some wedding party fun, we got to the Please Touch Museum. This wonderful venue has an amazing party piece – a vintage carousel that guests are allowed to ride during cocktail hour! How fun to sip on a signature drink and enjoy a ride. That’s not all the Please Touch Museum boasts. The Memorial Hall is cavernous without feeling impersonal. It invites you to fill the space with joy and laughter. Which is exactly what Meredith and David did all night with their wedding guests. They stopped briefly for a few pictures of just the two of them on the carousel.

It was a beautiful night with beautiful people, and can’t wait to be back at the Please Touch Museum again!
