Rivercrest Wedding Day | Christine & James

Over 10 years in the making, highschool sweethearts Christine & James were elated on their Rivercrest wedding day. Even at the young age of 16 years old, James stuck out to Christine as a gentleman. Best friends ever since, these two have experienced all of their milestone moments (so far) together and can’t imagine life without one another. With James’ love of golf and his bride’s wedding visions for the ballroom, Rivercrest was the perfect place for their wedding.

Getting Ready

There’s so much to love about a Rivercrest wedding day, and the bridal suite is one of our favorites. Perfectly suited for wedding day preparations with ample natural light, classic modern features, and plenty of space for Christine & her bridesmaids (& bridesman) pre-wedding festivities.

We got to work capturing Christine’s classic wedding details- a beautiful lace ball gown displayed on her custom bridal hanger with her gold heels, traditional silver wedding bands, and perfectly pastel bridal bouquet. On the more sentimental side, personal details included a custom clutch created using fabric from her mother’s wedding dress and a memory charm to attach to the bouquet.

Before getting into their soft pink dresses & coordinating bowtie, the bridesmaids added a personal touch to each of their bouquets by wrapping them with a matching pink ribbon. When it finally came time for Christine to get into her wedding dress, her mom and sister lent their helping hands while holding back their tears of joy. After adding her accessories, she revealed her final bridal look with a bridesmaids first look in the lobby.

Groom Prep at the Collegeville Courtyard by Marriott

Meanwhile, James & his groomsmen started the Rivercrest wedding day just around the corner at the Courtyard by Marriott. The groom suited up in his stylish black watch, monogrammed suit jacket featuring his initials, and a beautiful boutonniere to compliment his soon-to-be-wife’s bridal bouquet. Looking sharp in his classic black suit & bowtie, James & the groomsmen departed for the wedding ceremony at Rivercrest.

Rivercrest Terrace Wedding Ceremony

A perfect sunny Spring day, the poolside terrace was stunningly set for the semi-outdoor ceremony with colorful aisle florals leading to the central arch where James would soon be waiting for Christine. With friends and family now gathered around, James’ eyes were fixed on Christine as she walked down the aisle with her mom. During the ceremony, Christine & James signed a family prayer book, exchanged their personal vows, and exchanged their wedding bands before sealing their marriage with a kiss. After celebrating all the way up the aisle, it was almost time to party the night away the rest of the Rivercrest wedding day!

Wedding Portraits at Rivercrest Golf Club

With the stunning stone backdrop in the ceremony space, family portraits are a breeze on Rivercrest wedding days. But, we couldn’t resist exploring the gorgeous grounds, so we headed out for wedding party & couples portraits on the golf course! After sending the bridesmaids & groomsmen to enjoy the Rivercrest cocktail hour, the sun began to set just right for portraits with the bride & groom. Being together for over 10 years, these two were so natural with each other and their smiles said it all. Remember when we mentioned James’ love of golf? Naturally, he had to take a swing on the range on his wedding day! We took advantage of the gorgeous golden hour sunset for a little while longer before heading back to celebrate their Rivercrest wedding day.

Rivercrest Wedding Reception

Back in the ballroom, Christine’s wedding visions had come to life with the help of Enchanted Florals. The celebrating started off strong with exciting entrances from both sides of the wedding party ahead of the new Mr. & Mrs. Choy. The newlyweds shared a classic first dance to “How Sweet It Is” before settling in their seats for speeches. The pair laughing & crying their way through heartfelt words from the best men, James’ brothers, and maid of honor, Christine’s sister. With one more special song before the dance floor officially opened, James danced with his mother while Christine watched from the side with hers.

After cutting the traditional Bredenbeck’s wedding cake, it was officially time to party! The bride & groom and all their guests were busy enjoying the flashy photo booth while Soundfactor Entertainment kept the dance floor full, with guests even breaking out into a limbo using someone’s belt. On a gorgeous Spring evening, the cigar bar was the perfect end to the Rivercrest wedding day.

Cheers to the new Mr. & Mrs. Choy!
