When HoneyBook, a company that is near and dear to our hearts, launched new city directors in Washington D.C., we got the opportunity to be part of a styled photo shoot to celebrate the occasion. Headed up by Bridget Moore and Courtney Kappus, friends from our days at ISSE, their combined talent brought wonderful style, beauty, and collaboration to this shoot.
The lush chic details
We were so fortunate to experience the beautiful event space at Malmaison. Bright open spaces with lovely hardwood flooring made for the perfect setting for our reception table setup.
Courtney styled the table, and the florals by Blush Floral Design Studio simply popped off the table. The gorgeous and cheery pinks featured rich textures and smelled lovely as well. The laser cut signs added a flair of whimsy. There was even a signature cocktail – a honey infused Moscow Mule. Perfect for a warm summer day.

Dressed by Bridget from K+B Bridals, our bride and groom models were absolutely wonderful. They fell together naturally and made our job incredibly easy. The stunning Martina Liana gown seemed tailor made for our bride and we loved the warm champagne coloring. It was perfectly paired to the flowing and vibrant bouquet. The belt by Faye Daniel Designs was a gorgeous accent.
We enjoyed a lovely day shooting to our hearts content and exploring the downtown DC area surrounding Malmaison. Lots of foot paths and a little creek gave us lots of inspiration. We quickly filled the time allotted before the event began. Then we put the camera down, had a HoneyBook Moscow Mule and mingled with lots of Mid-Atlantic creatives. It was a wonderful evening filled with networking and true community connection.
