It was a true pleasure to be part of Sabrina and Benjamin’s wedding at Pomme. They held a beautiful and bright ceremony in the main atrium. A giant wall of windows allowed plenty of light in, and gave a glimpse of some of the beautiful greenery outside. They had a modernized Jewish wedding, still rife with tradition and heritage, but with flashes of their individual personalities. After being pronounced husband and wife, Benjamin smashed the glass and kissed his new wife. Then it was on to the reception.
It was a merry occasion, filled with dancing, love and laughter. Benjamin and Sabrina enjoyed their guests and themselves as they danced as husband and wife for the first time. They cut their cake, topped with an adorable Star Trek figurine and then were swept off their feet for a rousing hora. Benjamin was as light on his feet as anyone, and seemed to become more of a whirling dervish as the night wore on. Sabrina was right there with him, laughing with and loving her new husband. Too soon it was time for us to bid this couple farewell.

It is tradition in Jewish weddings for the groom to be escorted by his parents down the aisle. It is not just the joining of two hearts, but two families.
