Look out world, this week’s wedding features some beautiful people, places and culture. Shamala and Dan will be on our blog all week and we cannot wait for you to bask in the warmth of their beautiful love story, exquisite details and loving family and friends.
We start with their engagement shoot that they had with us last fall. The leaves were falling, the days were crisper, and they had asked us to go to our favorite place to photograph: the campus of the University of Pennsylvania. Even though neither of them call it their alma mater, they knew that it boasted some fantastic locations for portraits. We mentioned our love of this gorgeous campus in Mazell and Jared’s portraits post a few weeks back and were so happy to oblige.
We wandered around on a perfect autumn afternoon, stopping whenever the fancy struck. Shamala and Dan needed no instruction. They were so enamored with one another that every angle and pose they struck was photogenic. It was wonderful to witness their love and affection. We ended their engagement session by heading back to their place where the roof of their home displayed a wonderful view of the city they love.
