When the bride is the cousin of one of your epic 2016 wedding couples, and they’re every bit as awesome, you know you’re in for a great day. Kelly and Marc’s Olde Mill Inn wedding felt like a family reunion and was such a blast to capture from beginning to end.
Getting Ready at the Olde Mill Inn
Upon arriving at the Olde Mill Inn, we immediately found ourselves swept up in the beauty of the wedding Kelly and Marc had painstakingly planned. Not the least of which was Kelly’s wedding day details.
We adored the lacey blush wedding dress designed for BHLDN by Tadashi Shoji. The simple and classic Michael Kors heels completed the look of effortless elegance. The bouquet that Petunia Bergamot had fashioned was a glorious collection of blush roses and white anemones. The bridesmaids donned their delightfully airy periwinkle gowns, and we made sure to have time for some bridal party fun before heading to the church.
Meanwhile, just a short distance down the hall, Marc was busy making sure his suspenders were on properly and that his duck socks were just right. With everyone all suited up and looking rather dapper, we took a few moments for some groomsmen portraits to mark the occasion. Then, it was time to get that man to the church!
The Ceremony at St. James Church
Having saved their first look for the altar, Kelly and Marc were both fighting back a few last second nerves as the music began to play and the moment arrived. The second they locked eyes, as Kelly’s father escorted her down the aisle, that all melted away into pure joy. Their Catholic ceremony seemed to fly by in a flurry of smiles and hand squeezes. Once they’d made their vows and sealed everything with rings and a kiss, they were off to their reception with aplomb.
Wedding Portraits at Cross Estate Gardens

They carried this feeling into their Olde Mill Inn wedding reception with incredible dancing and lots of well wishes from family and friends. It seemed like no time had passed when it was suddenly time to cut their cake and then we were on the road.
