What an absolutely incredible soiree Ariella and Isaac had for their Vie by Cescaphe wedding! From the astonishing florals (orchids galore), to the Israeli band, to the horn being trumpeted throughout the reception, everything about this cultural wedding was a feast for the senses.
Getting Ready at Sofitel Philadelphia
One hotel that we don’t do a lot of wedding prep in is the Sofitel, which is a shame, because it is amazing! So when Ariella and Isaac told us they would be getting ready there, we were really excited.
Ariella greeted us with her trademark bright smile and ushered us into her room. Her gorgeous Allure Bridal gown was hanging in the window, the light softly glowing through it. The intricate beading was exquisite and we couldn’t wait for her to put it on. The lovely bouquet designed by Beautiful Blooms was a soft blush full of feathery textures that contrasted beautifully with the beads and jewels of her wedding day ensemble.
Meanwhile, her bridesmaids were having finishing touches put on before jumping on the bed for a photo in their matching robes. Then it was time. Ariella was helped into her dress and when the buttons were done up, she was every bit the elegant bride. Her father came in to greet her with a wide smile.
Just next door, Isaac and his family were busy getting ready as well. It it a custom for the father of the groom to put the shoes on his son. One of the many lovely cultural traditions brought into this wedding day. Tie on, jacket buttoned, and shoes shiny, Isaac made his way downstairs for the first look.

Philadelphia Portrait Session
The weather was mildly uncooperative for our portrait session around Rittenhouse Square, but these two didn’t mind! They grabbed their umbrellas and made with the cute. It was as if it was only them in the whole world. The way they smile at each other, the little crinkle around Isaac’s eyes and the sparkle of Ariella’s spoke volumes about their love. The day they’d long been anticipating was here, and nothing was going to stand in the way of their complete joy.
We stopped by Broad St for a few more portraits and First National Bank where the weather relented enough that we could lose the umbrellas for a bit. Then it was time to get to Vie by Cescaphe and get these two married!

The Ceremony at Vie by Cescaphe
Ariella and Isaac had a very traditional Israeli Jewish wedding at Vie preceded by a private Ketubah signing. Much of Isaac’s family doesn’t speak English, so it was a real joy to hear multiple languages come together in celebration of this newlywed couple. Ariella entered, escorted by her parents, as did Isaac. She was radiant. Their ceremony under the chuppah was a concert of love. When they were pronounced and Isaac broke the glass, everyone rushed up to greet them. Then it was time for their energetic reception.

The Reception at Vie by Cescaphe
Done to the nines, Vie by Cescaphe looked incredible. Orchids graced every table, the pink uplighting was soft and inviting, and to top it off, there was a floral wall for guests to take pictures with. After the mouth watering cocktail hour was finished, guests were invited to take their seats so the festivities could begin in earnest. Ariella and Isaac entered to a roar of applause, a shot of the petal cannon, and opened the dance floor with a rousing hora. Most of the night is a blur of dancing, dollar bills flying, and tons of love and laughter. It felt like no time had passed at all when we were ready to pack up and head out.

We are really looking forward to seeing these two again when we have the joy of photographing Ariella’s brother’s wedding in November!
