William Penn Inn Wedding | Alex Zeiger & Mark Fahringer

The William Penn Inn wedding uniting Alex and Mark brought together two sweet individuals who care for each other deeply. We were thrilled to be a part of their day!

Getting Ready for the William Penn Inn Wedding

When we arrived at the William Penn Inn, there was a mist living in the air, but the threat of real rain was still hours away. Alex and her mom and maid of honor were happily chatting away as we began capturing the memories. Her beautiful Bijou wedding dress was utterly stunning with all its layers of ruffle-y awesomeness. Paired with her Badgley Mischka wedges, she was sure to be radiant.

When all the details were returned to their proper place, she was ready to get dressed. All the important ladies in her life stopped in their tracks. She was perfect. And she couldn’t wait to see Mark.

Meanwhile, Mark had arrived slightly tardy and it was definitely taking its toll on him. Liam reassured him that everything was quite all right and they had an easy and efficient time getting Mark dressed in his Iacobucci suit. Still though, the nerves were gaining ground, so we brought him outside for some fresh air, and to see his bride.

The First Look & Portraits at William Penn Inn

Nestled next to a hedgerow outside the William Penn Inn, Mark stood anxiously. He was nervous, excited, and chomping at the bit to see Alex and marry his best friend. She entered the garden and swept up behind him. The second he turned, the tears spilled over. They were finally together and he couldn’t have been happier.

We kept them in the garden for their couple’s portraits and couldn’t help but smile at Alex as she coached Mark through them. These two are a perfect fit.

Family soon joined us and we completed (almost) the entire family list before the ceremony. Which means… cocktail hour food for the newlyweds!

The William Penn Inn Wedding Ceremony & Reception

In a short and sweet ceremony, Mark and Alex declared their love for one another. They exchanged traditional vows, till death to they part. Family and friends looked on with such deep support, we know these two have a fantastic group of people surrounding them.

The wonderful staff for this William Penn Inn wedding was lead by Robin that day, and the ceremony room turned quickly into the reception room. Warm and inviting, the atmosphere couldn’t have been better.

Alex and Mark entered into their first dance. They’d selected a beautiful song called “In Case You Didn’t Know”, by Brett Young. Country music holds a special place in their hearts and so this song spoke to that and to their deep feelings for one another.

Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner, toasts from the maid of honor and best man, and watched as Alex danced with her father and Mark his mother.

We were sad to say goodbye to this sweet couple, but happy to have celebrated this new chapter in their lives!
