Last year we got to ring in the New Year with Allie and Joe and their rocking reception at the Chase Center in Wilmington and it was totally awesome.
It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since Allie enjoyed an afternoon with family as she got ready at the Westin Wilmington to marry her longtime love, Joe. Her extremely elegant trumpet silhouette gown and gorgeous jewelry set our hearts aflutter. Rivaled only by her radiant smile, her bubbly personality overflowed in laughter and joy, especially as she got close to walking down the aisle. Her love for Joe was delightful to witness and even more so to capture for the years to come.
Meanwhile, Joe was the picture of debonair in his perfectly tailored suit, great cufflinks and handsome watch. A silver top hat sparkled on the bureau, hinting at midnight shenanigans and making everyone excited for when the clock would stroke 12.
After a beautiful ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church, we spent as much time outside as we could in the cold winter air and got some beautiful nighttime portraits with the newlyweds. Once we were sufficiently frozen, we hurried off to the Chase Center and got the party started. It was one for the ages! An amazing band kept the guests and the new Mr and Mrs on the floor all night long, and when the final countdown began, everyone was chanting along. When the new year arrived, Allie and Joe shared a passionate kiss to begin 2015.
Happy Anniversary, Mr. and Mrs. Farley! We had such an amazing time celebrating New Year’s with you and hope that this next year will bring you even greater love and happiness than the first!
