Catherine and Paul got married at the stunning Knowlton Mansion in Philadelphia, and as beautiful as the mansion was, these two were even more gorgeous. Catherine’s delightful and playful wedding gown designed by Anne Barge was simple and perfectly lovely with its many layers of polka dotted tulle and bejeweled flower on the waist. She wore it with effortless grace. Paul, meanwhile, was impressive in his suit and blue checked tie (courtesy of his fiancé) and was excitedly nervous as we got him in place for their first look.
The first look was held outside on the little side path that just whispered of romance. Paul waited for his bride and she was a vision, gliding towards him in the golden sunshine. They shared a frozen moment of time as they embraced and the sun bathed them in radiance.
Their outdoor ceremony was witnessed by their closest family and friends and the piano that accompanied Catherine’s processional was provided by none other than one of our former brides, Melody. After a short and sweet exchange of vows and rings, the happy couple spent the night dancing, enjoying fabulous food, and even a romantic candlelit glass of wine in the original wine cellar. Truly a special evening.
