We were thrilled to be back at the newly rebranded Parque, formerly Hunting Hill Mansion at Ridley Creek State Park, capturing Stephanie and Ben’s wedding day. They are both powerhouses when it comes to their profession, however this day was all about letting loose and enjoying their time with family and friends. Their details perfectly enhanced their wedding day.
Getting Ready at Parque
Stephanie and her bridesmaids had a relaxing morning admiring the Sophia Tolli wedding gown hanging in the window. Stephanie’s grandmother’s wedding ring was in the mix of the wedding day rings as it was her something borrowed and old. We got the chance to photograph a copy of their invitation suite along with her shoes, rings, earrings and gorgeous bouquet from Amaranth Florist. In a callback to their engagement were two bottles of wine, Cabernet Sauvignon from the Boich Family Cellar, where Ben proposed! While the ladies prepared for Stephanie’s special day, the guys were relaxing. When the groomsmen arrived at the park they were dressed and ready to impress. With Primo hoagies in hand, they made fancy napkin bibs to keep their attire wedding ready. They were full of energy and buzzing about the mansion, waiting the day to kick into full motion.
First Look By The Fountain at Parque
Ben was patiently waiting by the fountain outside Parque to see his stunning bride. His morning with the groomsmen had been fun and relaxing, but he just could not wait to see Stephanie for the first time on their wedding day. After a few deep breaths, Stephanie touched his shoulder and he was beaming with excitement. He was stunned by her beautiful dress. They stepped apart to fully take in the small details each of them wore that day. Any nerves they had evaporated after they saw each other.
Ceremony By The Gazebo at Parque
The trees surrounding the area gave some luscious shade for the guests to enjoy while they waited for the “I dos”. Ben and his groomsmen stood in front of the gazebo awaiting the ladies. From a break in the tree line the ladies entered looking fabulous. With a pause just before Stephanie and her dad entered the ceremony space, everyone turned with excitement. As she walked down the aisle, she had all of Ben’s attention, it was like no one else was there. After many heartfelt words and laughs, they said I do. The moment everyone was waiting for had arrived. Stephanie and Ben were officially husband and wife.
The Reception at Parque
Guests walked around the ballroom finding their seats while the bridal party lined up for introductions. After Stephanie and Ben were introduced they went straight into their first dance, “I Run To You” by Lady Antebellum. Everyone is the room watched as the two danced and laughed with smiles that brightened the dance floor. The maid of honor, Melanie, and best man, Scott, gave heartwarming speeches about Stephanie and Ben and the memories they’ve created with each other over the years. During the parents dances there were misty eyes throughout the room. Once the dance floor opened up, it was filled with dancing, laughter and all around joy from their friends and family.
Thank you, Stephanie and Ben, for having us celebrate and photograph your wedding day! We wish you a long, and loving marriage together full of celebrations with family and friends.
