Jason and Emmy’s wedding was a true love affair. Everything was driven by love. Love of fashion, love for family, and, most of all, love for each other.
Emmy captured our creative and detail loving hearts with her impeccable style. Just look at these shoes! and that dress! and those flowers! Everything was flawless and she was radiant. Even little lovable canine companions were dressed to the nines. We were so excited to see a pear cut diamond. Such an amazingly gorgeous and classic cut for a ring, but not really the trend we are seeing right now. Such a unique pop in an already beautiful wedding. Beyond even her incredible fashion sense, Emilia radiated grace and poise. She seemed less to walk than to float, gently gliding across the ground. The movement in her dress only augmenting her ethereal grace. A truly elegant bride through and through.
Emilia and Jason got married at the beautiful MICHENER MUSEUM in Doylestown. Gorgeous masonry and bronze sculptures provided a stunning back drop for such an elegant couple. The reception hall boasted large windows which illuminated the party in lovely evening light. A photographers dream. But beyond the beautiful style, the fabulous locations and even the lovely May weather, the greatest thing about this wedding was the genuine adoration this couple has for each other, and the tender love of family enjoying their time together.
Are you ready for some serious feels? This couple delivers a tender shot through the heart. There is so much emotion in their expressions throughout the ceremony and reception, you can’t help but be swept up in it. Tragically, Emilia had lost her father and his presence was sorely missed by all. Yet, even in the grief of his absence, there was a unique joy in Emilia’s mother filling the role traditionally held by the father. She escorted her daughter down the aisle, gave her away, and danced with her as a new bride. We photographers never really get to hear what is said between a dancing couple, but we didn’t have to imagine too hard what Emmy and her mother were talking and thinking about. In their love for each other as family, her father’s spirit was certainly there, smiling at his two lovely ladies.
My, oh my, oh my! Even with a shortened time for portraits, we got some incredible veil shots of Emmy and Jason. Just look at them! Her smile says all you need to know about how she feels about him. Love, warmth, security in knowing he is her man. And you can plainly see that he adores her with everything he has.
