Louise and Mike shared with us their late May wedding, which was not only beautiful to behold, but delicious to smell. They included so many flowers, the aroma was all encompassing. Everywhere you looked, there were roses, peonies, tulips and so many more, each a more vibrant and striking shade of pink, red, and yellow than the last.
Not easily swayed, they were both delightfully serene as they got ready for their upcoming ceremony, even though Louise was feeling fairly ill. Her demeanor was so calm and composed, not letting the illness steal her joy away. Mike’s tie was straight, his boutonniere pinned and a huge grin lighted across his face as we got ready for their first look. Louise’s dress was a dream, her hair that of a sprite and she walked gracefully across the cobblestoned path to her love. Mike turned to see his beloved and his face said it all. The love these two share is palpable. It is tangible. It drips off them like honey, sweet and golden. We never had to pose them, they fell into place perfectly and beautifully every time. Even when Louise got tired and needed a break, they sat on a picturesque bench and snuggled up, sharing a more private moment. We affixed our long range lenses, and our cameras feasted on the beauty in front of us. This couple, they really do complete each other. They share everything, they enjoy the other’s passions, and they are deeply, madly, crazy in love; and it was an absolute pleasure to behold.
Their ceremony sealed what we already knew, that these two would vow to love each other for all time and spend their lives in pursuit of a common dream.
