It was a beautifully bright and sunny day in May when Jenn and Claire got married at Grace Winery and Sweetwater Farm. These two brides had perfectly complimentary personalities. Jenn is bubbly, chatty and was SO excited during the planning that she would send sneak peaks to us of things she had for the wedding. On the other hand, Claire was organized, professional and very level headed. However, when we got ready for their first look, the excitement started to bubble over within Claire. She stood out on this lovely stone pathway, trying to breathe as she anticipated her bride. When Jenn put her hand on Claire’s shoulder, all the excitement and happiness could not be contained. She melted. And so did we.
The charming winery and farm provided a lovely setting for their portraits. The golden light was bright and matched their smiles. The abundance of beauty spoiled us for choice and we quickly ran out of time to photograph anything more before heading into their ceremony and reception.
As dusk fell, we pulled the newlyweds out for a sunset portrait session before the sun sank completely. The colors were vibrant, and were a lovely farewell to the happy couple.
