Kristen & Nick’s Parque Ridley Creek wedding was an elegant affair full of smiles, dancing and two people’s deep love for each other.
Getting Ready for their Parque Ridley Creek Wedding
Kristen began her day getting ready at her family home with her bridesmaids. As her stunning Essence of Australia dress from Sposabella hung in the background we relished in photographing her wedding day details. Her veil provided a wonderful backdrop to photograph the invites from Minted. Her accessories, including rings from A.R. Morris Jewelers and loose flower petals provided by Anne Ottley Floral Design completed the scene.
As she was helped into her dress by her mother and bridesmaids, Kristen was beaming with excitement. As was her whole family and bridal party when they saw her completed look.
Nick’s day started off at his family home with his parents, groomsmen, and dog, Bob. We could tell this day was going to go smoothly as nick was all ready for his getting ready photos and the groomsmen were all suited up and ready to put on their boutonnières. His classic navy suit and subtle printed tie from Suit Supply perfectly complimented his wife to be’s elegant wedding day look. Before long it was time for them to head to St Agnes Church Parish.

Ceremony at St Agnes Church
Once the groomsmen had seated the guests and the bridesmaids made their way down the aisle, the doors opened and Kristen stepped into the church, being walked down the aisle by her bothers. Kristen and Nick locked eyes and beamed at each other as she made her way to the altar.
After a lovely Catholic mass, the newly weds walked back up the church aisle amidst cheers from their friends and family. There was a pause for some photos at the church as well as in the street with West Chester in the background. We were pleasantly surprised by the traffic in the town stopping and waiting for us to make some photos in the middle of the road. Thanks, Dub C!

Portraits & Reception at Parque Ridley Creek
Once at Parque Ridley Creek, we couldn’t wait to get out into the stunning Garden area around the venue. We were spoiled for choice with tall trees, a reflecting pool and historic structures. There was even a hidden waterfall and a bridge over the stream where we created some of our favorite photos of the newlyweds.
Of course the photo session had to end because it was time for the wedding reception. In the ballroom, the wedding party set the tone for the evening with some fun entrances before the bride and groom were welcomed in by all their friends and family.
After some touching yet hilarious speeches from the best man and maid of honor, Marty from Silver sounds DJ’s got the party started and the wedding party surrounded by the wedding guests danced the night away.

Kristen and Nick, thank you for letting us photograph your big day at Parque Ridley Creek! We had so much fun and we wish you both a long and happy future together.
