A blog post about Nicole and Ryan’s Rose Bank winery wedding would be totally incomplete if we didn’t mention the first time that Ann had a chance to photograph these two lovebirds. Just a few months prior, Ann captured Nicole’s maternity portraits around old city Philadelphia and these were some of our favorite maternity portraits we’ve ever seen her create. Nicole was genuinely glowing as she sported her beautiful belly around some of Philadelphia’s most famous landmarks. And we were so excited to get to see her and Ryan again on their wedding day mere weeks after they were expecting their little one to appear.

Fast forward to early October when Ann joined Nicole and Ryan on their Rose Bank Winery wedding day. The day started out much like any other, with Nicole getting ready and toasting with her crew. Although Nicole was less than one month from giving birth to her son Bryson, no one would’ve guessed that as she slid into her sleek lacy wedding gown. We are not the kind of women to celebrate bounce-back culture, especially not after Ashley’s incredibly truncated maternity leave (yes, she photographed this wedding less than 3 weeks after an unplanned c-section), but we do have to admire a new mama who takes time to celebrate her self and her love in the midst of the newborn phase. And celebrate is exactly what Nicole was ready to do.

A Rose Bank Winery wedding
Although we know Ryan was incredibly excited to see his bride walks down the aisle towards him, it’s possible that the real stars of this Rose Bank Winery wedding ceremony where are the couple’s two Goldens, Claire and Ryder. These two were guided down the aisle at an enthusiastic trot by one of the groomsmen. Once the crowd calmed down there “oohs” and “aahs” at the adorable pups, everyone turned and saw Nicole making her grand entrance alongside her father. Although the ceremony was short and sweet, as the couple exchanged their rings under a stunning floral arch, everyone could feel the palpable joy as Nicole & Ryan were officially united.

Meet Bryson! (And a truly stunning portrait session)
After the ceremony, was a moment that we had all been waiting for! The chance to finally meet baby Bryson, Nicole and Ryan’s newborn baby boy. Even though he slept through his entire portrait session, he still manage to steal everyone’s heart! After a few pictures Bryson was taken indoors to nap in peace, while Nicole and Ryan continued portraits with their family, wedding party, and then alone as husband and wife.
With the gorgeous October sun slowly sinking behind them, these two took full advantage of the gorgeous grounds of the rose bank winery wedding. The rustic barn that had been converted to a reception venue was a perfect backdrop for some wedding party photos. And these two finished their time alone with a signature cocktail toast to a happy future.

Rose Bank Winery wedding receptions are awesome!
Before we knew it it was time for everyone to make their way inside to the Rose Bank Winery wedding reception. Nicole was living up every moment of her celebration laughing and smiling with her friends and family, dancing gleefully with Ryan, and grabbing everyone she could find for a picture.
Nicole & Ryan, we couldn’t have been more thrilled to capture your moments, from your engagement photos to your maternity session to your wedding day. We can’t wait to see what the future has in store for you, Bryson, (and Claire & Ryder, too)!
