When we arrived to photograph Andrea at her families house in a picturesque Pennsylvania suburb, we were greeted by the giddiest and most adorable sprite of a bride we think we’ve ever seen. Andrea was on cloud nine, and there was no way anyone was going to bring her down. She excitedly pointed us to her special details, showed us her amazing princess wedding dress with it’s many layers of gorgeous tulle, and perched happily on the chaise while we got to work; watching us capture her memories of the day. How adorable is that?
Her family was hustling and bustling about, getting themselves ready and preparing to help Andrea into her dress. In her parents bedroom, in front of a giant mirror, Andrea slipped effortlessly into her gown. It fit her like a glove. We brought everyone back in and had her turn to reveal her completed bridal beauty and everyone burst into tears. Tears of pure joy. Then we whisked away to the church!
The church was a beautiful affair, full of natural light from the giant windows that arose behind the altar. When Jason saw his bride coming down the aisle to him, he tried, to little avail, to keep from tearing up. You could see the adoration shining from him like a spotlight that was stayed upon Andrea until her father put her hand into his. Throughout the ceremony, he frequently stole glances at her and smiled broadly. And when they were pronounced man and wife, he kissed her with a passion that made us blush.
When we arrived at the Hilton, we immediately sped off to do couples portraits and give these two lovebirds a few moments to themselves before spending the rest of the evening with their guests and family. They snuggled close together, laughed and kissed and we shot away. The ease they feel together translates into effortlessly stunning portraits. We were sad to release them to their cocktail hour, but we did it anyway.
The rest of the reception was a blur of amazing dancing, hilarious toasts and lots of happy celebrating of the newlyweds. Andrea and Jason, we sincerely hope that you have an amazing life together and we will not soon forget your wedding bash!
