Lauren and Kevin’s wedding at Belle Voir Manor was a summer dream. The fates had orchestrated some challenging circumstances – global pandemic much? – but the day of their wedding had finally arrived and it was beautiful!
Getting Ready for the Wedding at Belle Voir Manor
Lauren radiates serenity and joy. That is probably what sticks most in our mind as we reflect on this beautiful wedding. When we arrived to begin capturing her and her wedding party as they got ready, she was excited but so calm. Her incredible dress hung in the window and the light coming through set off the lace and sheer elements. The subtle glow of pink underneath was delightfully feminine and we just could not wait for her to slip it on!
When she did, with the help of her bridesmaids, they beamed with joy at their stunning best friend. They couldn’t wait for her to go see Kevin, so off we went to Belle Voir.
Meanwhile, Kevin was just as excited and relaxed. His awesome floral bowtie was quite striking and perfect for setting his blue suit off! The guys had spent a fun morning together, and now it was time to hit the road.
First Look and Portraits at Belle Voir Manor
In the verdant outdoors by the Delaware River, Kevin waited for his bride to appear. When he turned to see her, she took his breath away! We spent more than a few moments capturing these two around the grounds of Belle Voir Manor. They made it so easy.
We were joined by wedding party and then it was just about time for their Belle Voir Manor ceremony.
Lauren & Kevin’s Wedding Ceremony
The sky was a rich blue, the trees in full summer glory, and a faint breeze to cool off guests created a picture perfect atmosphere for Lauren and Kevin’s ceremony. With the arbor outside Belle Voir Manor creating a lovely backdrop, Lauren and Kevin were married in a beautiful ceremony that paid tribute to their Jewish heritage. When Kevin stomped the glass, the crowd cheered Mazel Tov and it was time to party.
Reception at Belle Voir Manor
“We’ve waited an extra year for this. Party accordingly.” This sign at the bar gave everyone their instructions for how to celebrate the marriage of Lauren and Kevin. Their guests understood the assignment and from the moment Lauren and Kevin were introduced, through a rousing Hora, and all the way through to the end of the night, the dance floor was jammed and everyone was having an amazing time.
