Cescaphe Wedding at The Lucy | Kathleen & Adam

Kathleen & Adam’s Cescaphe wedding at The Lucy was a classic celebration of their timeless love. From getting ready with Kathleen at her family home & Adam at the Cambria Hotel, to journeying through Center & Old City Philadelphia, to their ceremony & celebrations at the Lucy, their day was full of modern elegance and pure joy.

Getting Ready

When we arrived at Kathleen’s parents house, we knew we were in for a day of modern elegance. Her simply stunning Allison Webb wedding dress hung in the window, waiting to be worn. The classic black and white wedding invitation suite with gold details set the tone for a classic celebration at the Lucy. Her girls (& guy) donned matching satin champagne pajamas and fuzzy footwear while getting ready for the wedding day ahead. Kathleen stood out in her fun feather sleeve pajamas with a stylish flare. Her perfect pup joining the crew, blending right into her white wardrobe while taking a few group photos before posing with the bride.

After slipping into her textured a-line gown, Kathleen’s mom and sisters lent a hand, adding her beautiful bow and statement shoes. With her pearl veil and alluring anemone bouquet, Kathleen was a picture of modern elegance. Before leaving for her first look with Adam, she shared sweet first looks with her father and bridesmaids. Finally, it was time to head to Philadelphia for the Cescaphe wedding at the Lucy.

Meanwhile, Adam and his groomsmen started their day just down the street from his Cescaphe wedding at The Lucy at the Cambria Hotel. With stunning views of Broad Street below, Adam dressed in his classic black suit and bowtie. He opened a gift from his bride and added the watch with a touching engraving to his wedding day wardrobe. He then toasted some champagne with his groomsmen before journeying through Philadelphia for his first look at the Merchant Exchange Building.

First Look & Photos in Old City Philadelphia

Kathleen & Adam met in Society Hill, so Old City Philadelphia was the perfect location for Kathleen & Adam’s first look and wedding portraits ahead of their Cescaphe wedding at the Lucy. With neutral marble tones and striking architecture, the Merchant Exchange Building is a timeless backdrop for this classic couple. Once Adam turned around to see his beautiful bride, their smiles lit up as they took in the magical moment. They posed for a few photos together before bringing over the wedding party. The bridesmaids in their sophisticated black dresses stood out against the pale stone while holding their simple yet stunning baby’s breath bouquets. We captured Adam & his groomsmen looking calm & cool on the stairs before leaving for the Lucy wedding ceremony.

The Lucy Wedding Ceremony

Adam stood in place between lusciously large arrangements of white rose and baby’s breath at the altar of The Lucy’s grand ballroom. Kathleen and her father made their way down the stairs and down the aisle. After readings from friends & family, Kathleen and Adam placed their wedding rings and a sealing kiss on one another. The new Mr. & Mrs. Berryman walked hand in hand up the aisle, pausing for the signature smooch in the middle.

Cescaphe’s signature 90 minute cocktail hour gave the newlyweds a chance to pop out for portraits in Philly before joining their guests. Stopping at all of the iconic landmarks, these two were a picture of elegance and class on their evening stroll through the city. As they walked up and down Broad Street, it felt as if the whole city was celebrating as horns were honking and strangers were screaming their congratulations. After popping some bubbly on Broad, it was finally time to party at their Cescaphe wedding reception at the Lucy.

Cescaphe Wedding Reception at The Lucy

Upon our return to the Cescaphe wedding at the Lucy, the grand ballroom was transformed into a timeless reception space. Already an elegant ballroom with modern features, the Beautiful Blooms team created the classic wedding of Kathleen & Adam’s dreams filled with gold accents and wonderful white florals.

The newlyweds made their grand entrance through a sea of cheering guests, lighting up the ballroom (literally) as Adam dipped his bride for a kiss on the center of the dance floor. Their first dance kicked off the night of celebrations before settling in for speeches and dancing with their parents. Once the classic Cescaphe Cake was cut, Kathleen, Adam, and their guests danced the night away with the Heartbeats Band.

Congratulations to Kathleen & Adam! We wish you a lifetime full of love & happiness!
