It had only been a few weeks since their engagement session in Hoboken when we road tripped up for Amy and Brent’s Crossing Vineyard & Winery wedding. It was the perfect place for these two wine lovers to tie the knot. And to make sure nobody forgot the date, Amy put it on everything. Well, just about.
Getting Ready at Crossing Vineyard
In the bridal suite overlooking Crossing Vineyard, Amy and her ladies were so excited to see us when we walked in. Amy’s mom, Kathy, showed us all of Amy’s details. Pretty much anything that could be personalized with her initials and wedding date, was. But hey! It’s a hugely important date – put it on everything!
Her lovely beaded clutch bag sparkled in the sun. But nothing shone quite like their wedding rings. Amy’s unique setting included diamonds on the underside as well! We also crushed hard on her twin bands, one a diamond halo, the other a more simple band. These were the perfect complements to her engagement ring and Brent’s brushed metal ring.
Her dress was delightfully simple, yet utterly stunning. Her beaded belt gave way to a party bow in the back, and it made the most elegant silhouette. It was easy to slip into, and after some help with her shoes, she was ready. Ready to see Brent, marry the crap out of him, then spend the rest of the night celebrating at Crossing Vineyard & Winery.
Brent, meanwhile, had plenty of time to get ready with his guys inside the barrel room. His suit jacket was custom made and embroidered with their wedding date inside. He also had a custom tie tag on his tie, so he can always remember which tie he wore for his wedding. Amy’s dad and Brent’s also had these custom tags. It was a sweet touch.
Once Brent had a chance to get his shoes and boutonniere on, courtesy of our dear friends at Leigh Florist, he was ready to see Amy.

First Look & Portraits
Thankfully, there is a beautiful shady spot at Crossing Vineyard & Winery, and it was there that we set Brent for his first look with Amy. It’s always funny to watch a groom when he can hear his bride but not see her. Amy was giggling and ribbing him a bit, and when he turned to see her, they were both all smiles. Such a sweet sight.
As guests were due to begin arriving shortly, we quickly worked through wedding party portraits and family. Everyone got the chance to have a picture with Amy and Brent. Exactly as it should be. Once we’d finished with the larger groupings, we took off into the vines at Crossing Vineyard for more intimate couple’s portraits.
Photographing Amy and Brent in the middle of the vine rows was so much fun. They just couldn’t believe the day was finally here. And because no one else was allowed in with us, we were able to keep them tucked away from the eyes of guests until the ceremony began. Desiree and her team at Devoted Wolf Events made sure everyone was exactly where they needed to be.

Ceremony & Reception at Crossing Vineyard
Brent’s mother has sadly passed away, but her seat was saved for the wedding at Crossing Vineyard. A bright and vibrant bouquet of sunflowers sat in her chair. And so the scene was set for Amy and Brent to finally get hitched. Amy’s emotions finally spilled over as the moment of seeing everyone in attendance and her groom waiting for her hit her like a train. She was smiling through happy tears, and as her dad gave her hand to Brent he told her, “Have fun.”
They shared vows and were blessed with both an Irish and Apache blessing, and then that was that! They were officially newlyweds.

Cocktail hour started immediately with some of the yummiest looking food we’ve seen. Amy & Brent’s beloved Frenchie, Maggie, was there in spirit as well. On the cocktail napkins, and the signature cocktails sign, you saw her adorable face.
As everyone was seated, the music came up and the freshly introduced Mr and Mrs came dancing into the room. They shared a lovely first dance with one another. Amy serenaded Brent almost the whole time, in between warm hugs and kisses. She then danced with her father as eyes around the room shimmered with joyful tears.
Toasts were offered to these two lovely people, and the line that stood out to us was from Dave’s best man speech. He thanked Amy for how beautifully she treated their mother. How she was kind to her, and how she was there for Brent when she passed away. It was a lovely commendation of her character and we loved how much a part of their family she’s been for so long. And now it’s official!
Before the night could go into full celebration mode, the sky decided to show off a bit. So we snagged Amy & Brent for a few sunset portraits in the vines at Crossing Vineyard. Totally worth it. What a stunning wedding!
