Diana and Cristian were married at St Martin of Tours on a very rainy day in June. The rain on the outside had nothing to compare to the bright glow inside the church. Diana was walked down the aisle by her father Paul, who had spent the entire morning alternately beaming ear to ear and crying happy tears. He was one of the most emotional father of the brides that I’ve gotten to work with and his bond with Diana was truly remarkable.

This image is just another example of how valuable a second shooter is to fully capturing your wedding day. During the ceremony, having two photographers allows us to capture moments from all over the church without having to move around nearly as much.
Diana and Paul had an emotional walk down the aisle together until he pulled back her veil to present her to Cristian.
Paul offers Diana a final kiss on the cheek as he gave her away. I’ve had the honor of photographing this moment so many times, but Diana & her father have such a wonderful bond. He spent more of the day tearing up than any other father of the bride that I’ve met. It was a wonderful moment to witness.
Diana & Cristian lit up in a way I had never seen when they finally saw each other at the top of the aisle. Cristian’s face processed through a thousand emotions while he waited for Diana to make it to him, but from the moment that they were side by side, both were absolutely giddy with love.
The best of couples find a way to escape into private moments, no matter how many eyes are on them at any moment. Diana & Cristian spent their whole day together finding moments like this.

The ring exchange is one of the most symbolic moments of the wedding ceremony.
Diana & Cristian exchanged their beautiful wedding bands during their wedding mass. Their rings were engraved with the word “Forever” and their wedding day, June 27, 2015. Check out a few closeups of the wedding details on the blog from earlier this week!
