Flourtown Country Club Wedding | Lauren & John

Upon discovering that Lauren and John had been together for 12 years, it was evident that their wedding day would be something extraordinary. A blend of sentiment, support, and celebration. From the heartfelt moments at home to the epically energetic dance floor, we had the honor of capturing many memorable moments during Lauren and John’s Fall Flourtown Country Club wedding day.

Getting Ready for the Flourtown Country Club Wedding

In the comfort of her childhood home, Lauren gathered her closest companions to prepare for the emotionally charged day ahead. Her elegant details, meticulously arranged on a gilded mirror, provided us with a delightful canvas. Among the gifts from her soon-to-be husband were a pair of diamond earrings and another touching surprise. A canvas featuring a striking engagement photo (courtesy of our talented associate, Ann), encircled by the lyrics to the song they would share their first dance to later that evening. She then spent a few moments flipping through a sentimental scrapbook lovingly crafted for her wedding day by the bridesmaids. After some Prosecco and playful moments with her furry friend, the time had come to adorn the bride.

Assisted by her mother, Lauren slipped into her stunning Martina Liana gown, a choice carefully curated from La Belle Mariee Bridal. Adorned with whimsical, flowing floral sleeves fit with a surprise for the celebration. After adding her accompanying accessories, she shared intimate first looks with her father and bridesmaids. Her girls stood ready with their personalized handkerchiefs in hand as Lauren showed off her final bridal look. Capturing the radiant bridal beauty was a must before journeying to meet her groom at the altar.

Meanwhile, in the couple’s shared home, John and his crew kicked off the celebrations. Amidst sipping some beers, they fondly recalled tales from Lauren and John’s early years and bar adventures. John, donned in a timeless charcoal suit and tie, was ready for the Flourtown Country Club wedding. He then paused to read a heartfelt handwritten letter from his bride, calming his nerves.

This year, a delightful find for us has been the introduction of pocket square florals for the groomsmen. Truthfully, how many guys are adept at properly pinning a boutonniere? Choosing pocket square florals not only creates a striking look but also saves time without the hassle of pinning petals or folding a pocket square. Post a spirited Twisted Tea chug-off victory, he led his crew to the church in a sleek Ali Baba Limo.

St. Luke the Evangelist Wedding Ceremony

St. Luke the Evangelist, beyond its sheer beauty, held profound significance for this couple, evident in the ceremony’s heartfelt moments. As John and his groomsmen awaited the bride’s arrival, they reminisced about their substantial time in the church as classmates. A number of the groomsmen shared a childhood bond having grown up together. Given that Lauren and John had been classmates since kindergarten, these friends had the unique privilege of witnessing their relationship evolve over the years. They now get to stand by their sides as they say “I do”.

Upon Lauren’s entrance with her father, all eyes fixed on the emotional moment unfolding. John, visibly moved, took Lauren’s hand and guided her to the altar. Hand-in-hand the entire time, the pair heard readings from loved ones and the priest’s prayers. He even highlighted the poignant fact that both Lauren and John were baptized in this very church, just a month apart. It was profoundly symbolic that the place where their spiritual and romantic journeys began was now where they pledged eternal love and devotion to each other.

Surrounded by their dearest friends, they exchanged vows, wedding rings, then sealed their union with a tender kiss.

Friends & Family

The wedding day overflowed with love for Lauren and John, apparent in the warmth of their friends and family. The heartfelt gifts, unwavering support, and active participation of everyone showcased the incredible bonds these two had formed. Given the meaningfulness of the church, we made sure to capture their family photos at the altar before heading to the Flourtown Country Club wedding celebration.

As we arrived at FCC, the bridesmaids geared up for the celebration with stylish heart-shaped sunglasses and selfie moments. We led the wedding party to a charming garden courtyard for a mix of formal and lighthearted photos. The bridesmaids, adorned in creamy pink gowns and holding bouquets of soft pastel hues, added a lovely touch to the scene. Making sure every portrait of Lauren was picture-perfect, her girls pitched in, adjusting her flowing train and veil.

It was heartwarming to see Lauren and John take individual photos with each other’s entourage—another testament to their enduring friendships. With the sun beginning to dip, we sent the wedding party to enjoy cocktail hour while we explored the picturesque golf course at Flourtown Country Club with our bride and groom.

Wedding Portraits at FCC

Capturing portraits of Lauren and John was a breeze. With the sun casting its golden glow over the lush green fields of Flourtown Country Club, we made our way on to the course to capture that beautiful newlywed bliss. John showered Lauren with tender kisses on her cheek, temple, and shoulder, enveloping her in affectionate embraces. As the weather began to cool, Lauren sought warmth by snuggling close to her husband on a bench before joining the guests for cocktail hour.

Flourtown Country Club Wedding Reception

Upon arriving at the Flourtown Country Club wedding, guests were met with signage handcrafted by the bride along with their signature cocktail. A perfect fit for the fall theme, the apple cider mule was complete with a stirrer featuring their beloved Lyla. The ballroom was elegantly adorned with greenery and candlelit centerpieces expertly arranged by the Seedling & Sage and 25th & Ivy teams.

The wedding party made entertaining entrances, paving the way for the introduction of the newlyweds, Mr. & Mrs. Waldinger. Morgan Wallen’s voice filled the room, echoing the words from John’s wedding gift to Lauren, as they danced for the first time as a married couple. After settling at the sweetheart table, laughter and the sound of clinking glasses accompanied heartfelt toasts from their dearest friends.

After cutting their stunning Bredenbeck’s cake, the celebration truly took flight. Lauren shed her sleeves to fully embrace the dance floor, while John became the life of the party. Every step and slide to the music culminated in a memorable moment when John, his groomsmen, and the entire wedding party passionately sang along to Taylor Swift’s “Enchanted”. DJ Dan Rofo skillfully kept the festivities going until the Flourtown Country Club wedding culminated. With plans to continue the party at their favorite local dive bar, their day of celebrations was far from over.

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Waldinger! We wish you many more years of enchanting love!
