The word of the day for Hope and Billy’s wedding is happy. All day, these two were simply happy. Hope was all smiles as she spent the morning and early afternoon getting her hair and makeup done at the fabulous Hotel Palomar. She and her bridesmaids enjoyed their plush robes and the amazing whirlpool bathtub that was able to fit everyone! Her lovely Allure gown was a vision of lace and tulle, the perfect marriage of vintage and modern. It fit her like a glove and the stunning sweetheart top was extremely flattering. She sat demurely on the couch as a note arrived from Billy. After reading it, she shared a few minutes with her mom. They sat together and her mom told her how amazing she was and beautiful she looked. Before she could leave, however, Hope needed her veil put in. But the hair stylist had left! Never fear, Ashley is here! Ashley quickly and expertly secured Hope’s veil and it was off to the first look.
Meantime, Billy was at home with his groomsmen. His gray suit was wonderful and he was the picture of cool and collected as he corralled all his guys and kept everyone on track. He was so excited to see Hope and we quickly brought the two of them together.
The minute Billy laid eyes on Hope, they both lit up like fireworks. All the planning, primping, polishing and patience had finally paid off, and here they were: two people in love about to begin the rest of their lives together.
We then toured Rittenhouse Square for pictures and Ashley added step-stool to her ever growing list of professions. The bridal party was wonderful and included the sweetest little flower girl and ring bearer. Everyone was a fabulous sport and braved the chilly and somewhat blustery day.
Next, we dashed off to the ceremony at the incredible College of Physicians. The genuine wood paneling gave the room a warmth and glow that made you feel at home. The decor and ketubah they had chosen was of a vintage romantic flavor and you felt like you stepped back through time. Their rabbi was wonderful and through the ketubah ceremony she encouraged the two families to participate to the fullest. Everyone was encouraged to forgive each other before Hope and Billy officially got married. Each parent was given the opportunity to whisper a blessing to their children and almost in-law. Then they were each asked to share something that the other spouse should know about their betrothed. It was quite sweet and truly united two families.
After the ceremony and family formals, we excitedly photographed the amazing dance party that ensued. Hope and Billy were married, and everyone was so excited to celebrate along with them!
Congratulations you two! We wish you many years of love and the same kind of happiness you enjoyed on your incredible day.
xo, Ashley
