It was a cheerful summer day for Rebecca & Spencer’s heartwarming Hotel du Village wedding. With Spencer’s love of formal gardens and Rebecca’s collegiate history in New Hope, Hotel du Village was the perfect place for these two to say their “I do’s”.
Getting Ready for the Hotel du Village Wedding
While there are many things we love about a Hotel du Village wedding, the bridal suite is one of our favorites. Boasting beautiful natural light and plenty of space, the charming suite hosted Becky and a few friends as they readied for the special day ahead. Her details classic with a bit of color and whimsical charm. She stepped into her graceful and glimmering gown with the most gorgeous sleeve details. Dressed in her grand gown, all she needed was her old style engagement ring and blossoming bouquet to become a bride. We captured the sweet smile she would wear all day before heading to the courtyard for her first look with Spencer.

Meanwhile, Spencer was preparing for the Hotel du Village wedding in a suite more aligned with his old-fashioned style. After lacing up his shoes, he added his classic black bow tie and tuxedo jacket. His mother stepped in to proudly pin Spencer’s military medals on the lapel of his jacket. It was finally time to make our way outside to await the beautiful bride.

First Look & Photos at the Chateau
Just below the bridal suite, Spencer stood patiently waiting for Becky to walk through the doors. Once she did, a giant grin spread across both of their faces as they made their way to an intimate embrace. After hanging out in the courtyard for a few poses and pecks, we began exploring the enchanting grounds of the chateau. Although she may come off as serious at first, Spencer loves the playful and affectionate side of Becky that was evident throughout their day. Accordingly, the pair smiled, swirled, and snuggled all around the gardens before officially becoming husband and wife.

Historic Ballroom Wedding Ceremony
The bride and groom were joined by their closest family for the Ketubah signing as guests gathered in the historic ballroom ahead of the Hotel du Village wedding ceremony. When Spencer took his spot under the Chuppah, Becky’s parents escorted her down the aisle. He lifted her veil and commenced the traditions of a Jewish wedding ceremony. With the glass smashed, they shared their first kiss as husband and wife and headed up the aisle.

Family & Friends
Family and friends gathered in the gardens to memorialize the special day with Becky & Spencer. While the pair chose to forego the formal wedding party, we love how the ladies stood out in their coordinating floral dresses.

Hotel du Village Wedding Reception
Finally, it was time for the Hotel du Village wedding celebration. The historic ballroom boasted an intimate atmosphere with its dark wood features, candlelit tables, and gold accents. Guests settled in their seats as Becky & Spencer took to the dance floor. Becky’s father stepped in for a dance with his daughter before Spencer & his mother joined them. Once the bread was broken, the pair proudly listened to words of wisdom and sweet stories from many loved ones before making a speech of their own. The cake was cut and dessert served with a favor bringing a touch of Philly to their Bucks County wedding with a LOVE chocolate. The Horah sang through the speakers as the bride and groom were hoisted high above the cheering crowd. Following a quick change into her party dress, Becky & Spencer danced the night away to end their heartfelt Hotel du Village wedding!

Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Willig! We wish you many more years of playful affection!
