Pyramid Club Wedding | Rachel Lytle & Jonathan Fields

What could be better than enjoying the stunning Hotel Palomar and being eye level with icons from the Philadelphia skyline? Marrying your best friend and partying at the Pyramid Club with your closest friends. And that’s exactly what Rachel and Jonathon did.

Getting Ready at the Hotel Palomar

Arguably one of the prettiest hotels in Center City, the Hotel Palomar was the perfect place for Rachel and her ladies to get ready for her wonderful wedding. The suite was bright and warmly appointed, and at the center was our bride. The finishing touches were being applied and so we began with her lovely jewelry and stunning dress.

Then it was time to get her into her dress. We really loved her blush dress and the jeweled belt she had added for some bling. Her bridesmaids donned classic black dresses, each in a style they had chosen. Then it was time for her first look. She couldn’t wait.

A few floors below, Jonathon and his groomsmen were getting ready. There was an air of fun flowing throughout the room. All the groomsmen were making sure Jonathon was dressed and in high spirits as he got his tux on for his wedding day. He couldn’t wait to Rachel. With this tension building, we got in the elevator for his first look.

The First Look in the Library of Hotel Palomar

This was a day of beautiful locations as well as people. The Pyramid Club reception was still to come, but the library at the Hotel Palomar was a stunning place for their first look. Bright and modern, the room invited them in to see each other. Jonathon waited in the corner as Rachel swept into the room. He turned and saw her. Their embrace was full of sweet relief that they’d made it to their wedding.

We invited the bridal party in and did some fun portraits before heading out to BNY Mellon Center Atrium for their wedding ceremony.

The Wedding Ceremony at BNY Mellon Center Atrium

One of the most beautifully unique locations for a wedding ceremony, the atrium of the BNY Mellon Center boasts massive windows and great architecture. Jonathon made his way down the aisle to wait for Rachel. She entered arm in arm with her dad. They made their way up the stairs together and the ceremony began.

Once they had made vows and exchange rings, they shared a kiss and long embrace and ran back down the aisle together.

Portraits and Reception at the Pyramid Club

When we got to the Pyramid Club, we made a beeline for the roof. One of the greatest views of the city greeted us. Eye level with one of the most iconic buildings that graces the Philly skyline. Pushing back our slight fear of great heights, we photographed these two in this epic scene before heading back downstairs for their reception.

They entered to massive applause, and shared a sweet first dance. They spent most of the time hugging each other and talking. Toasts and parent dances followed in short order. The night descended into dancing and laughter and Rachel and Jonathan enjoyed themselves with their closest friends.
