Ali and John’s incredible Huntingdon Valley Country Club wedding united two sweet hearts together in a fantastic celebration.
Getting Ready at Private Residences
When we arrived at Ali’s parent’s home, she greeted us with a huge smile and instantly we felt like family. Ali showed us her parent’s newly renovated bedroom – what she said was her dad’s job for the wedding – and brought out her details for us to begin capturing. Her Michael Kors loafers for the reception were the perfect match for her sparkly Badgley Mischka heels. But the real show stopper was her Watters bridal gown. The delicate lace and illusion back flowed perfectly through the trumpet shape of the gown, and ended in a cascade of tulle.
One of our favorite moments was when she received and opened a gift from John. Apparently she had told him no gifts and he ignored her in the best possible way. The heartfelt letter she read aloud for the benefit of their wedding video and brought both smiles and tears. The gorgeous necklace is sure to be one she treasures forever.
Meanwhile, John was hanging with his best dudes and favorite mom. She helped him pin his boutonniere to his custom embroidered suit by Enzo Custom Suits. Spirits were high and before heading to the church, they raised a toast to John and his new life with Ali that was underway.

The Ceremony at St Charles Borromeo Church
Guests had taken their seats, the music was swelling, and John was waiting anxiously at the altar for his bride. With her dad by her side, Ali came down the aisle, breathing deeply. They met at the altar and began their marriage rites. The priest exhorted them to always love one another, to be kind and patient with each other, and to never forget the moment they became man and wife. We know they won’t. They kissed with great joy and triumphantly left the church, forever united.

The Huntingdon Valley Country Club Wedding Party Portraits
One of the most beautiful country clubs in our opinion is Huntingdon Valley Country Club, and for their wedding portraits, we were spoiled for choice. There’s no bad view, and with a bridal party like Ali and John’s, no party-poopers either. Everyone was in high spirits, the laughs and jokes flew freely, and this was a mere shadow compared to the enjoyment we beheld at the reception.
Before we got to the Huntingdon Valley Country Club wedding reception, Ali and John took a tour of the property with us and we captured their love till our heart’s content.

The Huntingdon Valley Country Club Wedding Reception
What a party! Ali and John entered their reception and immediately opened the dance floor with their first dance. They sang every word to each other and didn’t seem to notice anyone else in the room. The roast, I mean toast, by the best man left everyone in stitches. Ali tried not to cry when her sister offered her toast honoring her. The night was such a blast. The dance floor was insane and never empty. We even got pulled into the action for a couple selfies with John and his guys. It was an evening of pure joy and we couldn’t have been happier to have been a part of it.
