Morgan and Tom have become very dear to us throughout the wedding planning process, and their intimate Philadelphia wedding was a pure joy, despite being sparked by the sudden postponement of the wedding they’d been planning for over a year. Our hearts broke with theirs, but rejoiced when we learned we’d be able to still celebrate with them this year, then again next year!
Their Intimate Philadelphia Wedding
Morgan was a ball of nerves when Rachel arrived to capture her getting ready. So nervous, in fact, that she’d already gotten into her dress! After a little champagne, she settled in and Rachel was able to get a couple re-getting ready shots. Her hair was perfect, the dress spectacular, and her friends were there to keep her smiling and make her feel loved. Her matron of honor had a special gift for her. A box of letters from friends and loved ones, including those who couldn’t come to their intimate Philadelphia wedding. Morgan just narrowly avoided ruining her makeup as the tears welled in her eyes. It was a sweet gift, and she was now really ready to marry Tom.
Meanwhile, Tom was finalizing all the little details outside and making sure family and friends were finding their seats for the ceremony. He was in perfect backyard wedding attire and soon took his place to wait for his bride.

Intimate Philadelphia Wedding Ceremony & Portraits
When we say that Tom is madly in love with Morgan, we absolutely mean it. When she walked down the backyard aisle to him, he couldn’t keep from beaming. The whole ceremony, he was looking at her with such adoration, and gently running his hands over hers. Morgan returned every ounce of affection back to him. They’re truly meant to be and this moment was utterly perfect for them. In front of the few family and friends that were gathered, they said their I Do’s and gave each other beautiful rings to seal the deal. One epic kiss later, they were triumphantly marching back up the aisle as newlyweds!

After some quick and sweaty family formals and bridal party – the poor best man! – Morgan and Tom hung out with Rachel for a bit for some beautiful portraits around the backyard. These intimate Philadelphia weddings are great for finding the perfect light and getting creative. It certainly helps that these two are wild about each other and beautiful inside and out. We had a lot of fun and Rachel even went into the little creek (a common occurrence when there’s one around).

Then it was time for food and hanging out with those they’d invited. They had a fantastic food truck with some of the best pizza Rachel’s ever had. Urban’s Wood Fired Pizza, check it out. They’re amazing! It was with a bit of sadness that Rachel bid these two adieu at the end of the evening, but we know that we’ll meet again in a year’s time for the main event!
