Dori and Vince have been through a lot together, but there was nothing but joy and smiles during their wedding at the Manor House at Commonwealth in June!
Getting Ready for the Wedding
Dori and the ladies were busy getting ready for the wedding. Dori planned to get dressed at the Manor House at Commonwealth to avoid traveling in it, so we had a few minutes to capture some fun candids and all her lovely details. Her gorgeous shoes, the invitations for each date, and, of course, the wedding rings all had their moment in the spotlight. Then it was time to head over to the bridal suite at the Manor House at Commonwealth.
Vince was patiently waiting for the limo to circle to him after dropping the ladies off. He was quite the dashing figure in his suit. But the party piece was his awesome flamingo socks. They’re his favorite… and ours too! When he and the guys arrived, we swept him away for their first look, because Dori had gotten into her beautiful dress and was ready to see her man.
First Look & Family Portraits at Manor House at Commonwealth
The covered ceremony space provided shelter from the rain as Dori and Vince shared their first look. It was such a beautiful moment, and then they read their personal vows alone together. It was heart meltingly tender. We made great use of the space and captured lots of lovely family portraits before it was time to hide away so guests could take their seats and these two could finally get married!
Ceremony & Reception at the Manor House at Commonwealth
Dori and Vince’s wedding ceremony was so sweet. It was so completely personal to them. Their officiant read statements from family and friends of their responses to the question of when they knew Dori and Vince were meant to be. Dori’s brother said he knew when she would leave him and Vince alone in the same room to just talk. They also surprised everyone with the announcement that they were already married! But that didn’t stop them from sharing a huge kiss before being announced husband and wife, again.
Dori and Vince were a little sad that their dog, Milo, couldn’t be there in person that day. Though they made sure that he was there in spirit(s). They named their signature drink after Milo and had photos of him everywhere, as well as a little cake version popping out of their wedding cake.
The Manor House at Commonwealth was packed for their reception. Dori’s dad passed along the same charge his father-in-law passed to him at his wedding. He said, ‘She’s yours now. No take-backs or returns.” Vince happily accepted those terms. We wish them many happy years together!
