Nicole & Jonathan’s The Merion wedding

Nicole and Jonathan got married this past Saturday at a beautiful Merion wedding in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. Since their engagement session the previous autumn, we had been looking forward to this Merion wedding. Although we love all our clients, two more genuinely and effortlessly joyful people may not exist in this world.

The day started out in a flurry of activity, but everyone was calm. Nicole and all her attendants were getting cozy in their hotel room where there were makeup brushes brushing, ladies primping. While Nicole was laughing and smiling, we were licking away as we savored every second.

The guys room was not very different. No makeup brushes, but plenty of laughs and smiles from Jonathan as he anticipated marrying his bride.

To nobody’s surprise, their ceremony was every bit as lovely as they are. As she floated down the aisle to Jonathan, Nicole absolutely beamed. Jonathan matched her glow with his own warm grin as he waited, not so patiently, at the altar. Their vows were simple and heartfelt, their first kiss as husband and wife was sparkling.

After getting to know their families, it’s easy to see where Jonathan gets his fabulous smile and laugh. The whole day his mom and brother were matching him grin for grin, laugh for laugh.

Next, We had a great time photographing the bridal party on the banks of the nearby waterfront. Before heading into the reception to announce the new Dr and Dr.we soaked in the sunshine.

Although we’ve had the chance to photograph at the Merion before as a second shooter, this was the first Merion wedding that Ashley Gerrity Photography has had the privilege of capturing. Weddings at The Merion never disappoint – the staff is courteous and efficient and the gorgeous dome of the ballroom is truly iconic!
