2020 has been a crazy year, but no date was more in demand than 10/10/2020! Allison & Sal knew they wanted to work with our team and booked us almost two years in advance, so when we found out that they were working hard to keep their wedding date. Their original plan for a big ballroom celebration at Bridgemen’s Ballroom wouldn’t have fit within the constraints for gatherings in Philadelphia, so they worked with Conroy Catering to transition to a beautiful Knowlton Mansion wedding.
We’ve had the chance to work at Knowlton Mansion a number of times, so although we were sad for Allison & Sal having to adjust their vision, we knew that they would be in amazing hands!
While Sal hung out at home with the guys & their beloved dog, Alice, Allison was at Gina Maria’s Salon in Bensalem. Ladies, find yourself a bridal suite like this one! Not only was there dedicated space for the stylists to take care of Allison’s beautiful bridal party, but there was a gorgeous lounge area with autumnal decor and lovely window light for her prep photos. Once everyone was ready, we headed over to church for their wedding mass.
After a few formal portraits of the families at church, everyone hopped onto the party bus and headed over to their Knowlton Mansion wedding for portraits on the grounds before the celebration kicked in. From the DIY “Seed”ing chart to the pumpkins & hay bales in the corners of the tent, autumn was all around us.
After the cake was cut, the candles in Knowlton Mansion’s wine cellar were lit and Allison was excited to sneak down for some romantic lowlight portraits. Sal, in the vein of most grooms, was kind of over having his photos taken at this point. Guys, not only is happy wife, happy life a true statement, but with a little cooperation, we can get some really fun, unique photos at the end of the day once the sun goes down. We promise, it’s worth it!
We finished up the last round of portraits for their Knowlton Mansion wedding before bringing these two back up to the reception, where they finished out the night drinking and dancing with their friends & family.
