It was a remarkable and unconventional day in the Poconos at Tall Timbers Barn for Gwen and Steve’s wedding day. This woodsy venue filled with character and charm paired perfectly with this adventurous and sweet bride and groom.
Before the Tall Timber Barn Wedding
Gwendalyn and Steven’s intimate wedding was a nice change of pace for the AGP crew. The day started out a little different for us, out in the country woods instead of in the city skyscrapers. Everything about this day was about the couple and their love for each other. This outdoorsy celebration at Tall Timbers Barn was perfect for this adventurous bride and groom. After meeting on Instagram and bonding over the wood work done by Steve, the two texted back and forth non-stop. When Steve even answered “this random girl” at 5 in the morning just to talk, she knew there was something special about him. Gwen and Steven had their first date (and met in-person for the first time) on a hike at Lake Nockamixon with her dog. Steven says things just happened so naturally between them, and we could tell throughout the day how true this was.
Getting Ready for the Tall Timber Barn Wedding
Gwen and her girls popped a bunch of champagne while getting ready, because who doesn’t want to have a good time on their wedding day?! After getting emotional with his mom while pinning his boutonniere, Steve and his gang all enjoyed a can of ice cold Buschhhhhhhhh beer after finishing their official wedding day preparations. Before Gwen got into her gorgeous Watters gown, we hijacked a (very kind) neighbor’s porch to shoot the details and dress on. We especially loved the comfy Tom’s Gwen chose to change into with a more bohemian and outdoorsy style.

The Tall Timber Barn Wedding Ceremony & Reception
Once everyone was dressed and had a drink, Gwen’s father drove us down to the ceremony in a sweet early 1900’s Mercedes. He walked Gwen down the aisle and gave her away to Steve. They shared beautifully personal and emotional hand-written vows, and became husband and wife. A perfect balance, according to Gwen! Being the wild and crazy one she is, she sang to him in the middle of the dance floor in front of everyone. One part of the day most brides and grooms don’t get to thoroughly enjoy is the food, well not these guys. The hog roast was one of the most exciting parts of the day for Gwen and Steve, they even had pig’s head placed at their table. They clanked forks and utensils, almost like a “cheers” before starting every meal together, they lit a cannon together, and they started to gently feed cake to each other only to end up smashing it in their faces. They really were the perfect balance and match for one another. To make things even cozier, when the sun went down everyone gathered around a campfire. One of Gwen’s most anticipated moments of the whole day was roasting some inside-out s’mores by Tuck Ins by the fire. A perfect end to a perfect day, for a perfect pair!

Congratulations to Gwen and Steve, thank you for letting us be a part of this adventure with you!
It truly was a beautiful day! It was obvious, to all of us attending this wonderful wedding, that Gwen & Steve are deeply in love. The photographs are amazing, I love the photo album the newlyweds gave me for Christmas! One of the best days of my life! I am the very happy and proud mother-of-the-groom!!!
