The fall of this September marks 25 years of marriage for husband and wife Jose and Jasmine. Although they didn’t have the full wedding they originally hoped for, these two were married at 18 years old and the past 25 years have been a roller coaster of experiences. While 2020 turned out to be a wild ride for us all, Jasmine & Jose were determined to not let the years’ circumstances stop them from having the grand celebration of their love they always dreamed of at the Barn at Stoneybrooke.
The pair chose to renew their vows in front of their four children, family, and friends in an elegant outdoor ceremony on the grounds of The Barn at Stoneybrooke followed by a rustic celebration in the barn.

Getting Ready at the Barn at Stoneybrooke
Jasmine spent the afternoon with her three daughters in hair and makeup in preparation for the festivities the day would bring. Jasmine’s oldest daughter helped her into an elegant fitted lace gown before Jasmine added the finishing touches with her engagement ring, wedding band and pearl earrings and bracelet set. After all the details were in place, Jasmine sat in the alluring window light holding her perfectly pastel rose bouquet by Aribella Events for some dazzling portraits before heading outside for a quick first look with her husband.
While the girls got glammed up, Jose and his son suited up in their cool royal blue tuxedos. To pass the vast amount of time it would surely take for the four girls to finish up (a struggle any father/brother in a girls-outnumbers-boys family can relate to), they decided to shoot some pool.

First Look and Portraits at The Barn at Stoneybrooke
Even though Jasmine and Jose have been married for 25 years, seeing the woman you love stand before you in a white gown must still be a pinnacle of happiness. This is why they chose to have a first look at the Barn at Stoneybrooke. The power of knowing that you chose a partner all those years ago, to go through all the good times and bad times with, who is still just as committed to you as they were back then. Jose could barely hold back as Jasmine tapped him on the shoulder and as he turned around to finally see his bride in all her glory, his smile said it all.
Right after their first look, we brought in their four beautiful children, who were delightfully dressed in a coordinated mix of slate, sky, and navy blue, for a few family formals before exploring the grounds for some portraits. Together they walked hand in hand through the grounds and through the gardens, even pausing for a little slow dance in the trees and a kiss through the leaves.

Vow Renewal Ceremony at the Barn at Stoneybrooke
The Barn at Stoneybrooke has one of the prettiest outdoor ceremony sites we’ve ever seen (and we’ve seen a lot of places). The garden surrounded courtyard enclosed with a wrap around white pergola was beautifully draped with pastel florals and greenery to go along with Jasmine and Jose’s arrangements by the talented floral team at Aribella Events.
Jose stood under the flowers and watched as his son Jose walked Jasmine down the aisle. After 25 trying years, four kids, and many memories made together, they renewed their love, commitment, and vows to one another in a touching ceremony with Michelle, Melissa, Melanie, and Jose right beside them.

Reception in the Barn
The first thing you see when entering the Barn at Stoneybrooke is the stately seating and table chart painted with watercolor greens and trimmed with salal, hydrangeas, and more pastel roses. The string lights hanging above, classic candle and lantern centerpieces, and rustic venue created the perfect foundation for Jasmine and Jose’s 25th wedding anniversary celebration. The delightful meals, fantastic entertainment, and scrumptious wedding cake helped as well.
But what really made this significant milestone celebration so special was the moments shared with family, all the stories, speeches, and toasts heard, and the bond that Jasmine and Jose have celebrated together for over 25 years. To make this night even more personal, the two performed a choreographed dance for everyone to show off the moves they’ve learned over the years.

To end the grand occasion, the pair paraded under a tunnel of sparklers where Jose dipped Jasmine down for a kiss under the trail of light. Cheers to 25 years and many many more!
