It was a positively perfect day in November for Kate and Anthony’s scaled down wedding. Valley Forge was showing off with all the most beautiful colors of autumn, and we couldn’t wait to get these two together so they could get their forever started.
Getting Ready for the Valley Forge First Look
When we arrived at the hotel room where Kate and her ladies were almost entirely ready to go, there was a palpable feel of tension and excitement. In the world of covid, weddings are not a done deal until the day has finally arrived and there’s no new hoops to jump through.
It was with great joy that we got to work capturing the details Kate had thoughtfully assembled for her wedding day ensemble. We loved the special touches, like her mother making the bouquets and tying little gears onto the bouquet ribbons to celebrate the two engineers about to tie the knot. Her beaded belt and lace sleeved dress were also stunning, and we couldn’t wait for her to get dressed.
When she did, the transformation was complete and Kate was 100% ready to get the show on the road.
Meanwhile, Anthony was cool as a cucumber. He and the guys had an easy time donning their suits and ties, and thoroughly enjoyed the limo ride over to Valley Forge. As we all joined together, we got Anthony in place for his first look with Kate, and set our cameras up to capture the moment.

The First Look at Valley Forge
Anthony was standing under a perfect fully yellow tree, waiting for Kate to tap his shoulder. No nerves were evident, and as Kate approached him, all of hers melted away too. When the moment finally came, they fell together as only best friends and lovers can. We captured some bridal party images as each person was comfortable. What times we live in! But everyone was a great sport about it all. Then we kept our bride and groom for their portraits. Valley Forge couldn’t have been anymore perfect, and despite the weather drawing crowds, we felt like we were all alone in the park. Then, everyone got in the limos and headed over to the ceremony.

The Wedding Ceremony
Kate and Anthony shared beautiful vows to one another. Promises to love one another through thick and thin, and with planning a wedding through the time of coronavirus, we know they can handle anything else life might throw at them. They sealed their vows with rings and a kiss and walked back up the aisle as husband and wife to rousing cheers. The family in attendance gathered for formals, and once those were done, it was time to say goodbye until next year. Kate and Anthony, we can’t wait to party with you fully next year – we wish you the best as you start your journey as husband and wife!
