After waiting on pins and needles to find out if their wedding at One North Broad would be the soiree they’d always hoped, Caytlin and Greg got the best news ever! Philadelphia had lifted all the Covid restrictions regarding capacity and they were cleared to party! We were so excited for them and the whole city, and the day couldn’t have been more amazing.
Getting Ready at the Hotel Monaco
We should start by saying that Caytlin and Greg had gotten married the previous year in an intimate ceremony, so they decided to enjoy the morning of getting ready with one another. We loved the level of carefree intimacy this brought. It was like being with them on a typical morning, even though they were getting all fancied up for their wedding day celebration.
Greg’s details were on point! His beautiful cufflinks, the matching button studs, and fantastic watch all blended to create the perfect wedding day ensemble. He’d thoughtfully gotten his “groomsmen” a couple of amazing gifts as well. Monogrammed hankies, a bottle of fancy scotch, and a hand pressed record by one of their favorite artists. After a few extra minutes of hair styling, he was ready to rock n roll. The only thing was he couldn’t leave his room yet, because Caytlin was slipping into her wedding dress in the adjoining room. It’s not every day you get to wear your wedding dress again! We’re so glad she did. It was stunning. The perfect gown for a One North Broad celebration!
Caytlin also had this beautiful handmade beaded bag. It is one of a kind and was given to her by her grade school dance teacher. What a unique piece to carry along on your wedding day!
When everything was all set, everyone assembled and we made our way to the Merchant Exchange Building for some photos.

Portraits in Old City
Before heading to their cocktail hour at One North Broad, we made time for some beautiful portraits at the Merchant Exchange Building. Their “wedding party” was with us as well. We use the quotations because it was far less formal than most traditional wedding parties are. These few folks were brothers and sisters, and the couple that set Caytlin and Greg up. The closest of close. So it was perfect that they join them for the entirety of this special day.
Once we’d taken portraits at the MEB, we wrapped up our time by taking a few more at the Second Bank. Greg called the Uber we were going to take for us to grab a shot at Broad St before finishing our journey at One North Broad. Word to the wise, Ubers are hard to come by right now and can be a little iffy in the city as far as knowing where they are going. So just make sure you have plenty of time or pre-order one for your big day!

Reception at One North Broad
With their full guest count in attendance, the amazing staff at Catering by Design providing delicious food, and the magnificent grandeur of One North Broad welcoming them, Caytlin and Greg glided into cocktail hour and enjoyed every moment of it. You could see how much they were enjoying being with everyone, and they did their best to talk to every person that had made it.
Once cocktail hour was finished, everyone made their way into the Franklin Ballroom for an evening of dancing and fun. Caytlin and Greg were announced in and shared a beautiful first dance. Caytlin’s dad gave a welcome as did Greg’s. Greg got up to extend his personal thanks to all who were there, and especially to his bride whom he loves with all his heart.
Caytlin danced twice more, once with her dad, and once with her brother. Greg and his mother shared a lovely dance as well. Then, it was a slow build to what eventually became a raging dance floor. And it was off to the races. Everyone was celebrating these two and their amazing love for one another and incredible partnership. What a great night at One North Broad!
