Kaleigh and James got married this past Saturday and despite the stormy weather, they enjoyed the warmth and sunshine of their love as they started their new life together.
From beginning to end, the whole day was a dream. Kaleigh and her bridesmaids had a wonderful morning together getting their hair and makeup done. Their matching waffled robes lent an air of girls day at the spa to the room. The constant giggles betrayed how excited everyone was for Kaleigh, and Kaleigh was almost beside herself at times. As she demurely pulled her dress down from it’s perch, she was an absolute vision framed in the window light. And when the dress was on and all the buttons buttoned, she made the most incredible bride.
Meanwhile, James and his guys were busy goofing off in their hotel room. James’s nephew provided endless entertainment as the excitement of the day fueled him. Showing off their new flasks, the guys toasted to the groom to be and downed their drinks. They were now ready for the ceremony.
Their ceremony was a traditional Catholic mass with communion. James and Kaleigh shared their heartfelt vows and exchanged their rings in a beautiful church only five minutes from La Massaria. When they left as husband and wife, their faces positively glowed.
In between raindrops, we quickly snuck portraits in. They were absolute troopers, battling the heat and humidity. But you can’t tell at all! They look wonderful and dry and comfortable. Kaleigh could be a model and when she flashes her eyes, the world stops.
The reception was a fantastic party, fueled by love and fun loving relatives. Everyone partied hard. The maid of honor and best man speeches were great and James’s brother had everyone slapping their knees with mirth. Too soon it was time to go.
James and Kaleigh, we hope you are having a lovely time in Mexico and wish you the very best life has to offer!
