Franklin’s View Wedding | Liz Amesbury & Mark Rutkoske

Of all the couple’s we’ve walked through the pandemic with, it’s safe to say that Liz and Mark rank up there with those we’ve felt the most heart ache for. Their wedding was originally scheduled for Good Friday in 2020, and they were crushed when the first wave of shut downs hit the area. Thankfully though, the storm clouds rolled away and the pandemic relented for their amazing wedding at Franklin’s View. They even had a special guest star.

Getting Ready at the Loews Hotel

Liz was such a delight when we reached her at her hotel room. This most deserving lady was finally getting the amazing wedding day she deserved! We were so excited to be there for it. The one funny wrinkle was that Liz had wanted to do a first look with her dad. But he kept popping into her room at random times. Each time she would holler, “Dad! Go away!!” and he would. Only to reappear a bit later. They laughed it off and still enjoyed a sweet first look together before heading down to the Millennium Staircase to have her first look with Mark.

First Look at the Loews

It was an emotional first look for all of us when Mark and Liz came together at the Millennium Staircase. And despite a small mishap, everything was absolutely perfect. Through the rescheduling and the replanning, and all the in between, Liz and Mark had only grown in their love for one another. They couldn’t wait to head over to Franklin’s View for some really fun pictures! So off we went!

Portraits with a Special Guest at Franklin’s View

Liz and Mark LOVE football and they bleed greener than most people we know. In fact, they love the Eagles so much, that they named their adorable dog Kelce. Yes, after Jason Kelce, the Eagles longtime center. If you don’t know who he is, just watch this clip from the Super Bowl parade. We’ll wait.

Back to Liz and Mark. Kelce arrived and was such a darling. They got lots of pictures with her before she had to head home with the dogsitter. We stayed and captured some really fun portraits on the carousel and around Franklin’s View before leaving for Old City. This allowed Liz and Mark to be safely hidden away while guests began to arrive to Cescaphe’s signature champagne welcome.

Ceremony & Reception at Franklin’s View

After a long year plus of waiting, Liz and Mark finally got married at the Franklin’s View in front of their dearest friends and family. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house when they shared their vows, and even we weren’t immune to the emotion of the moment. Their vows were heartfelt and dear, the rings they exchanged were stunning. When they were pronounced as married, there seemed to be a moment of disbelief that it had actually happened, but it had and they were elated.

Then, thanks to the signature hospitality of Cescaphe, the reception kicked off with an incredible cocktail hour. Followed by an amazing dinner and dancing for the rest of the night. What a beautiful night at Franklin’s View!
