It was a gorgeous Saturday afternoon when we arrived at the distinguished Hotel Palomar to capture the wedding day of Gloria and Blaine. These two had met during high school and, when they went to college out in Pittsburgh (Duquesne and University of Pittsburgh respectively), their relationship strengthened, even in the face of difficulty. Now, with their degrees secured and their careers chosen and begun, they made the decision to live the rest of their lives together.
Animal lovers is an understatement for these two. Gloria and Blaine live for their Newfy and their rescued kitties. They made sure to include them in their special day as the important family members they are.
Another very important family member involved in a unique way was Gloria’s 98 year old grandmother, Hope. In order to incorporate her in their wedding ceremony in a deeper and more meaningful way, they gave her the honor of ring bearer. She was absolutely perfect as she swept down the aisle holding the rings Gloria and Blaine would wear forever.
