Get ready. This wedding will blow your socks off. I’m not kidding, Kathy and Jack’s gorgeous vintage rustic romantic wedding on Halloween was simply incredible. Kathy poured her heart and soul into every last detail, and Jack was right there by her side to help her realize her dreams.
Kathy and Jack are a classic love story, a girl walks into a bar… and the rest is history. Their wedding was an outpouring of love and romance. Their watercolor invitation suite, the myriad of handprinted pumpkins, the heart shaped autumn leaf confetti, and all of Kathy’s stunning jewels and her dress! This wedding was one beautiful sight after the next.
Jack surprised Kathy with one of the greatest gifts we’ve seen a groom give his bride. Kathy is a fashion lover, always exceptionally coordinated and stylish. Knowing her love of fine fashion and the indisputable fact that a girl can never have too many shoes, he surprised her with a pair of magnificent Louboutin’s. Our inner fashionista squealed along with Kathy as we saw the gorgeous heels with the trademark red sole come out of the box. They were perfect, and Kathy cast aside her planned shoes and donned these with great joy.
Meanwhile, Jack was busy getting ready almost an hour away from his bride to be at his parents house. Surrounded by family and his best friends, there was lots of laughter and memory creating as the guys got dressed in their gray suits. One groomsman had taken the initiative and brought a bottle of Macallan 18 year old scotch and the guys gathered on the deck and toasted the groom as he prepared to wed his beloved.
After the wedding ceremony, we made our way to Ballyowen Golf Club where we were treated to yet another stunning set of details. Beautifully calligraphed signs heralding the love of Kathy and Jack, flowers everywhere, a vintage love seat at the sweetheart table and a custom laser cut cake topper. We took advantage of the remaining light and took everyone out to photograph the bridal party and the newlyweds. Kathy and Jack were a dream – these two could be models – and their love was on display for all the world to see. They gazed long and lovingly into each others eyes, shared many long embraces and tender kisses and laughed heartily together as the joy of the day carried them away.
The night wore on, with dancing and gladness, toasts and tears. But throughout it all, Kathy and Jack seemed to soak it all in, treasuring each moment as it happened. They were married, and that was the very best part.
