Casey and Dave’s beautiful day culminated in a fabulous wedding reception at College of Physicians. It was our joy to be there to capture all the fun and love from beginning to end!
Getting Ready for the Wedding
When we arrived at the hotel where Casey was getting ready for her wedding reception at College of Physicians, we walked into a delightful scene. Casey and her bridesmaids wore matching robe styles, hers was white and the others were a beautiful periwinkle blue. The autumn inspired bouquet was sitting nearby, so we made short work of capturing its beauty alongside the other details she’d hand picked.
Then it was time for Casey to don her wedding dress. It was the perfect fit. The lace bodice with the most lovely off the shoulder sleeves was utterly elegant. The bridesmaids dresses were a deep green, a color we don’t see often enough. Once everyone was dressed, it was off to the church!
Meanwhile, Dave and the gentlemen were getting dressed as well. His tuxedo fit like a dream. The guys had bowties that matched the color of the bridesmaid dresses. It was an eye-catching look. No wedding can start without a toast, so the guys raised a glass to the groom as they departed. It was ceremony time.
The Ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church
One of the biggest moments on any wedding day is the moment the bride appears at the top of the aisle. The music swells and the smiles broaden. The moment Casey appeared in the doorway, Dave was awestruck. As much as he was looking forward to his wedding reception at College of Physicians, this was the moment he’d been dreaming of.
They were married in a traditional Catholic ceremony in front of all their closest family and friends. When it came time to walk back out, the newlyweds beamed the whole way out of the church.
We lingered for family formals before heading out to Rittenhouse Square for portraits!
Portraits Before the Wedding Reception at College of Physicians
It was a gorgeous autumn day in Rittenhouse Square. There was fall foliage beginning to change, and plenty of greenery still remaining. We had such a good time photographing Casey and Dave together, and with their wedding party. From the fun we had, we knew their wedding reception at College of Physicians was going to be a blast!
Wedding Reception at College of Physicians
The grand marble stairs that lead up to the wedding reception at College of Physicians welcome you to the party with style. Guests got to eat their fill of the amazing spread put on by Catering by Design and it was just a foretaste of the meal to come.
Casey and Dave were announced into their reception to a round of applause. They shared a beautiful first dance before opening the floor to everyone. The party was underway. Both Casey and Dave’s fathers gave heart warming toasts honoring their children and their great achievements in life and in their relationship. Best man followed with a speech that brought laughter. Batting cleanup was Casey’s maid of honor, who brought the tears in a good way.
After sharing a special dance with their parents, Casey and Dave cut their cake at their wedding reception at College of Physicians. It looked divine. Dancing became the order of the evening, and all too soon our time was up. Congratulations to you both, and many wonderful years together!
